Cappadocia ("land of beautiful horses") is a region in Turkey with the most incredible nature that will leave you breathless.
We went there from Antalya by bus and it was a pretty long drive, but we enjoyed it. There is this thing in Turkey whenever you take a bus on long distances they mostly give you some snacks and drinks on a bus for free. From tea, coffee to some cookies and salty snacks. It's such a nice gesture. 😊
We stayed in Cappadocia for three days and it was just enough time to see and experience everything we wanted to.
This was a half-hour walk from our room and we found ourselves in the middle of huge manly things that looked pretty impressive. 😅
more formations...
When you are in Cappadocia, everywhere you look the nature is fantastic! We absorbed all that beauty and enjoyed every minute there.
We stumbled upon some interesting-looking graves.
Then we came to someplace where we met with some guy who showed us how to climb on top of this:
We climbed and the views were incredible.
During our trip to Turkey, we ate the best food here in Cappadocia. We found a great restaurant and ordered two soups and one main course (little ravioli stuffed with meat in a yogurt sauce with chickpeas). With this, we got teas, water, bread, some side dishes and baklavas, all for FREE! I couldn't believe that they are so generous, and everything was so delicious.
That's all for today's post, hope you like it. Take care!😊
To be continued...
All photos are taken by us.
Turkey is on my travel list, but the region I do not know so far. The formations look really incredibly great, I do not know why Turkey is not so well known for its nature (or maybe it's just me haha). Thanks for showing us this place, the view you had is really incredible :)
Yes, you're not the only one who thinks that 😁 but I don't know why, I think Turkey has beautiful nature, especially Cappadocia and the whole sea-coast. One day, I wish to road trip through Turkey so I can see every part of it. :)
Thanks a lot for your kind words!
wow a road trip sounds like a great idea and kinda different when i think of a road trip i first think of the usa and canada or australia but i like the idea of doing one in turkey more and more after reading your post:)
