RE: Meeting the American Dream for the First Time

in Worldmappin3 years ago

A lovely story, I have always had a grudge against America in general. I think it's because almost every experience I have had has been negative. I am used to the quiet brooding English or chilled out jovial Irish within my family. The boisterous American doesn't sit well. I am sure I have just seen the tourist on steroids version each time!

I would love to visit, the place you stayed looks cosy and peaceful.

Friendly greetings @kph. Yeah, I'm with you - that's pretty understandable. The American culture, though acceptable to most nationalities around the world, is not 100% appealing to all earthlings. Again, this would definitely vary from person to person depending on their perceptions, opinions, and tastes. Nevertheless, our authentic human differences and unique characteristics make our planet an incredibly interesting environment to thrive in, isn't it? The world is still a beautiful place.
