Yes! It's safe to travel alone here in the Philippines. But if you plan to visit a secluded area, I suggest availing a travel 'n tours. Here on Hive, most of the travel blogs from the Filipino Hivers are in Cebu City. There are lots of tourists there traveling alone or in a group, but there are still other beautiful places in the country like Siargao and Palawan.
The Philippines is an archipelago, so you have a long list of beautiful beaches to choose from. If you want a combo of sea and nature, check out the neighboring island of the surfing capital of the Philippines (Siargao), which is Sohoton. You might want to check out one of my blogs: Sohoton Trip.
Thanks a lot for all this information!! I had no idea about the long list of places to visit, and it's great to know that I can travel alone, and also take some tours to different secluded areas. Yes, I guess it's better to go in a group to a more isolated place, mostly in the middle of nature.
