La Boracay Adventure ----- PART 1

in Worldmappin3 years ago (edited)

It's my first time going to Boracay that's why I was so excited about this trip. I've seen a lot of videos and beautiful photos of the beach, and I'm so glad that me and my fiance had a chance to visit it.

We arrived in Boracay on March 21, 2022, around 6 pm. Our flight was delayed for 2hrs, but that's fine. We stayed in Henann Palm Beach Resort located at Station 2. We didn't do much on our first day in Boracay since we arrived so late, so we just had dinner and relaxed. By the way, their food is amazing.

This is the scenic view from our room.

This is our room for 6 days.

Anyway, this post is all about our 'official' 1st day of our activities in Boracay, which is Jetski and pool day!

Of course, how can I forget to take a selfie? By the way, I got this bikini from Shein.

We had our tour guide from the hotel, his name is Kuya Randy. He's our guide for the whole week. I think I paid him 3,500php for the Jetski, and that's good for 30mins. I'm pretty sure you can find a cheaper rate for Jetski, We were just lazy to look for cheaper ones. hahaha

Just look how gorgeous the beach is. 😍 We were so lucky because the weather was so nice when we arrived there.

I was so nervous and excited at the same time. My fiance drove for the whole 30 mins. I didn't get to drive the Jetski, cause I got really scared. Ironically, I love freediving but got scared of Jetskiing. LOL, I still had fun though, just being in the backseat while my fiance is driving. HAHAHA maybe next time, if I had a chance to do it again, I will probably do it.

After Jetski, we just stayed at Station 1 for a while to relax and have our lunch. I also had my hair braid there.

The hair braid price starts at 400php according to 'ate'(i forgot her name, not really good in memorizing names😅), and that's without those colorful beads. But if you want to add on some colorful beads, it costs 50php per braid. And guess what? It cost me 1,100php since she did 14 stitch braids. So 50php x 14, then add the 400php HAHAHAH I was like, bruh. That's expensive! hahaha but I can't let her undo it cause I know how hard braiding is, but 'ate' was so kind to give me a discount. I paid her 900php for my hair braid. It was still expensive, but fck it...

This is the Sky Pool of the hotel we stayed at. We were gonna swim, but there were too many people in the pool, so we just relaxed at the bar, and ordered some drinks. I ordered Pina Colada, and my Fiance ordered Long Island Iced Tea and Mango shake. By the way, Mango shake is my fiance's all-time favorite drink.

So we just relaxed there, while waiting for the sun to set.
