Hello @worldmappin community friends. How are you all? I hope you are all doing well and healthy. Today I will share with you the experience of visiting an important place which I hope you will like very much. Today I will share the experience of visiting the building where Vishwakabi Rabindranath Tagore used to run his business and the very ancient building of Jageshwar Company located in Kushtia district town. Both these buildings are very old and very beautiful and iconic. The architectural style of these two buildings is proof of the taste that people showed so many years ago. Anyone will be impressed by the unique architectural style of these two buildings. It was built in 1895. Vishwakabi Rabindranath Tagore built this building to run his family business. It still stands tall as a witness to history. Today I will share with you the experience of how I felt after visiting this ancient monument. I hope you will enjoy reading today's blog. You will know the history very well. So let's start.

I have always loved history and I also love traveling to historical places. So today I have brought you a travelogue of an important historical place. This place is the bungalow that the world poet Rabindranath Tagore built to conduct his business and another old iconic building located next to it, the Yogeshwar Company Building. Both the buildings are unique in their architectural style. I will share with you my experience of visiting these two beautiful buildings. First, my friend and I took a bus from our district town Meherpur to our neighboring district Kushtia. Then we got down in the city of Kushtia and took a rickshaw to that beautiful iconic old architecture. After getting down from the rickshaw, the building looked like a royal bungalow. The most interesting thing is that the poet Rabindranath Tagore built this house not for permanent residence but for conducting his business activities. He used to come and stay here occasionally. We entered through the entrance. As soon as we entered, we saw a beautiful sculpture of Rabindranath Tagore. You can understand this by looking at the pictures above. The entire building is protected by the Kushtia Municipality. Then, as soon as we entered the main building, we saw many beautiful drawings on the floor of this building. I was very happy to see them. And looking at the entire building, it seems that although it is very old, the entire building has been made with a very tasteful design.

Then we entered the house. As soon as we entered the house, we saw a sense of nobility. The roof of the house was made in the Jalchhad system, which was how roofs were made in the previous landlord's houses or big houses. Besides, upon entering the house, the first thing we saw was a big picture of poet Rabindranath Tagore. The guide there told us that this picture was hand-drawn. The picture was made very skillfully with paint. Also, I saw that there was another picture inside, in this picture, all the famous personalities of Kushtia have been highlighted. Then we looked around the entire balcony of the building.

Then we moved forward a little inside the building. As we moved forward, we saw that there was a door on the back side of the building. Through that door, we went out behind the building and saw that there was enough empty space behind the house. This empty space made the house more attractive. The house is visible very well from here and from here you can easily observe the beauty of the house better. I observed the beauty of this house very carefully. Every design was eye-catching. In fact, the range of tastes of people in ancient times was wide. You can see it if you look at the pictures above.

Then we requested the guide on duty there to go up to the top of this house. I mean, we wanted to go up to the top floor. The guide was taking us. The thing we noticed while going up to the top floor was the staircase on a pole. The staircase was an iron staircase. Seeing this staircase, you can understand how old this house is. We climbed up to the top floor using the iron staircase. Once we got to the top floor, we could see the captivating beauty of this house. First, we went to the balcony. Going to the balcony, we captured the environment below from this house. You can understand this by looking at the pictures above. There is complete silence around this house. Seeing the silence gives a different feeling.

Every pillar of the house has beautiful craftsmanship. You can understand it very well by looking at the pictures above. Although taking photos is prohibited at the top, we requested the guide to take some photos, which you can see above.

We have already told you that it was forbidden to take videos or photos on the upper floor. So we could not take a complete picture. Even then, we requested the guide to take some pictures, which you can see above. First, the picture you see shows a chair and a table. It is said that these chairs and tables were used by Rabindranath Tagore himself. Then later, you see a picture where many chairs and many pictures are arranged in rows. This is basically an auditorium room now. Rabindranath Sangeet is performed here once a week by the initiative of Kushtia Municipality and the pictures that you see arranged in rows were given as a gift to the Bangladesh government by the Indian High Commission to decorate this house. Now you may have a question, what is the relationship between India and Rabindranath Tagore and what is the relationship between Bangladesh and Rabindranath Tagore? So listen, Rabindranath Tagore was born in the Tagore family of Jorasanko in Kolkata during the World Cup. At that time, the Indian subcontinent was one country. At that time, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan were one country and Rabindranath Tagore was the poet of undivided Bengal. After the partition of the country, Rabindranath Tagore was respected in Bangladesh in the same way as he was respected by Indian citizens. After looking around everything above, we again came down the century-old iron staircase.

Then we came out after visiting the entire house. Coming out, I took a photo of the beautiful entire house with its gate. Then I entered the gate again and kept a photo of myself next to the sculpture of poet Rabindranath Tagore to preserve my memory in this house. You can understand by looking at the pictures above. The trip to this beautiful house will be a memorable travel story of my life.

The building you are seeing now is a very old building of Raine Wick Jageshwar & Co. Company, located right next to the Tagore Lodge building built by the world poet Rabindranath Tagore. It is currently an institution of the Bangladesh Food and Sugar Corporation. This building was established in 1896. Seeing this very old building caught my eye. Since these two are located in the same place, I did not miss it anymore. I took a beautiful pic of this building to share with you. If you see the picture above, you will understand it better. Later, we entered inside.

After entering inside, a security guard came and told us that the public is not allowed here. We again requested this security guard a lot to look inside. He kept our request. He gave us permission to stay inside for a short time. Without further delay, we started looking around the building. In those old days, the building still seems to be standing as a witness to history. Every wall has cracks due to the evolution of time, but it still seems to have retained its nobility. The doors and windows look like they are made of solid wood. The terracotta tiles have broken in many places, but it is still very nice to see them.

This house was actually an industrial factory. But looking at the house, I feel like a landlord's house. The ancient architecture has been so skillfully reproduced that anyone who sees it will be impressed. I have uploaded special and wonderful photos of the entire house above, you will understand only after looking at the pictures above.

With this, our trip ended. So I took a picture of this house to preserve my memory. You can understand by looking at the picture above. I really like traveling to ancient places. I hope you enjoy such places a lot. I am ending here today, everyone will be fine.

It is quite an old building, but it has a very beautiful architectural design, complemented by the vibrant and striking color of its walls. Best regards.
