Hello, Hivers! It's me again. Come with me as we visit Simala Church before the year ends and wander around Talisay City.
Before the trip, we attended my cousin's debut party on Sunday afternoon. It was December 30th. My mother's side was present that day. After the party, my mother told her sister they should go home tomorrow because it was dangerous to travel back home. Their house was in Bogo City. So they agreed because it was late at night that time too.
Upon chit-chatting with each other my mother comes up with an idea of planning to visit Simala Church out of the blue. She then tells my aunties and cousin that we should go to Simala Church before they go back to Bogo, City. It was an unexpected and unplanned trip. So we agreed to wake up at 4:00 am so we could go there early, but I woke up at 5:00 am haha. So we departed from home at 6:00 am, the plan to go there at 5:00 didn't happen because we were so slow to prepare. At that time, me and my parents were in the car of my brother's girlfriend (btw my brother is the one driving the car) while my cousin and aunties were also in their car. So we've just convoyed each other.
Upon going there, the trip was smooth and our only problem was that we had so many stopovers in gasoline stations to relieve ourselves. The weather at that time is gloomy and sometimes Mr.Sun will show up. It was a long long ride.
As we got to Simala Church, there was already a wait for Hawk Mama Mary at the entrance. It was so long, and think we arrived at 9:40 a.m. There were so many people at the time, it was packed. We had seniors at the time, including my auntie, therefore we did not fall in line; those who did were my father, brother, and his girlfriend. I, my mother, auntie, and cousin went to their church first and waited for them there before joining the line. They arrived at the church around 11:20 a.m. The movement up there was slow.
The Beauty of Simala
The Simala Shrine has a stunning distinctive architectural style that resembles a medieval castle, which adds substantially to its visual appeal, you can never go wrong with the architectural style of Simala. When you go there, you can tell that the long ride was worth it. The spiritual areas of Mama Mary and some religious relics statues serve as important representations of the shrine's spiritual guidance and significance. Visitors can pray all their worries, ask for guidance, make a wish, and submit petitions. The temple is surrounded by amazing and stunning plants and a gorgeous pond, which adds to the peaceful and calming atmosphere and makes it a pleasant and appealing spot for people.
The peaceful place takes people on a journey of faith, love, gratitude, and abundance, leaving them feeling happy and relaxed. You can tell and pray about all your worries and what you want to achieve in life. You can also purchase candles in various colors, each with a special meaning, and some of their religious relics. Whether you're looking for spiritual protection and comfort or simply admiring the breathtaking view and scenery of Simala. A visit to Simala Shrine is an unforgettable experience that you will remember and cherish. By seeing the place and surroundings, you can feel the peace, and the worries are gone. Many miracles happened when people got to visit and pray at Simala. Despite the troubles and obstacles we've endured in our various lives, there is time for calm reflection, meditation, prayer, and a greater connection to our spirituality. The shrine's beauty and religious symbolism may inspire, overwhelm, or motivate individuals to explore their own beliefs and spirituality.
After visiting Simala Shrine, we go to Carcar City to eat our lunch at the Kendriya. Afterward, the wife of my cousin asked us if we could spare time to visit her aunt's house because she would get a Christmas gift for her baby. So we go Talisay City and we had a small talk and they prepared food to let us eat for dinner.
As we were about to go home it was nighttime already (we were so tired and sleepy). We got to see the Christmas decorations at the Talisay Plaza. We didn't get too close because we were just passing by. Yet, the decorations made it pleasing to the eyes and we were mesmerized by the design concept.
That's all for today! I hope you had a great time and enjoyed reading my experience. Always remember that places of worship or praying can serve us as gathering ourselves to connect with our faith and share beliefs with other people. See you on my next blog. Adios! Mwah 😘 SPREAD POSITIVITY AND LOVE!!♡
