I have always been fascinated by hieroglyphs, and there is a great exhibition at the National Museum that allows you to get to know the Egyptian writing system better. There are many exhibits with hieroglyphs and you can see them live - painted on papyrus.

Zawsze mnie fascynowały hieroglify, a w Muzeum Narodowym jest świetna wystawa dzięki której można lepiej poznać egipski system pisma. Znajduje się tam wiele eksponatów z hieroglifami i można zobaczyć je na żywo - namalowane na papirusie.

At the exhibition, a few minutes long film about hieroglyphs was shown. There, a story was told about how the hieroglyphs were discovered and how it was possible to decode what they mean. Na wystawie jest wyświetlany kilkuminutowy filmik o hieroglifach. Została tam opowiedziana historia o tym jak odkryto hieroglify i jak udało się rozszyfrować co oznaczają.
