A wonderful experience of being in the present moment at Lake Drawsko and a beautiful sunset / Cudowny moment zatrzymania w "tu i teraz" nad jeziorem Drawsko i piękny zachód słońca

I went on a summer vacation near the Drawski Landscape Park, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship (north-western part of Poland). When I was commuting to the town where I spend the night for a few days, I could see a lake every now and then on the road. Something wonderful! Tonight I went to Lake Drawsko. It is the second deepest lake in Poland (the first is Lake Hańcza).

Wyjechałam na letni wypoczynek w okolice Drawskiego Parku Krajobrazowego, w województwie zachodniopomorskim. Gdy dojeżdżałam do miejscowości, w której mam nocleg, tuż przy drodze co chwila widać było jakieś jezioro. Coś cudownego! Dzisiaj wieczorem wybrałam się nad jezioro Drawsko. Jest to drugie najgłębsze jezioro w Polsce (pierwsze to jezioro Hańcza).

There are 7 nature reserves in the Drawski Landscape Park (and 2 in the park buffer zone) and about 300 natural monuments. There are also valuable landscape objects, lakes (the largest Drawsko), moraine embankments, and erratic boulders. There are over 40 species of legally protected plants in the park, and the avifauna consists of 148 species of breeding birds (including eagles, herons, cranes, black stork, cormorant). Among the fish, there are, among others pike perch, perch, eel, and whitefish.

I would love to see a black stork, I wonder if I'm lucky and see him live :)

W parku znajduje się 7 rezerwatów przyrody (oraz 2 w otulinie) i około 300 pomników przyrody. Znajdują się tutaj także cenne obiekty krajobrazowe, jeziora (największe Drawsko), wały morenowe, głazy narzutowe. W parku występuje ponad 40 gatunków roślin chronionych prawnie, zaś awifauna to 148 gatunków ptaków lęgowych (m.in. orły, czaple, żurawie, bocian czarny, kormoran). Wśród ryb obecne są m.in. sandacz, okoń, węgorz i sielawa.

Bardzo bym chciała zobaczyć bociana czarnego, ciekaw, czy się uda :)

I was almost mesmerized by the surface of the water, especially the waves that were gently flowing towards the shore, and the pink-yellow shade of the lake - the reflection of the sunset in the sky.

Niemal zahipnotyzowała mnie tafla wody, szczególnie delikatne fale, które łagodnie płynęły w stronę brzegu oraz różowo-żółty odcień jeziora - odbicie zachodu słońca na niebie.

I rolled up the trouser legs and stepped into the water, knee-high. Although the water in the lakes is usually warm in summer, the water in this lake was quite cold. Nevertheless, I did walk a bit in it. The bottom was soft and it was pleasant to walk on. In addition, the water in this lake is very clear and despite the later time, you could see what is at the bottom.

Podwinęłam nogawki spodni i weszłam do wody na wysokość kolan. Mimo, że woda w jeziorach jest zazyczaj ciepła latem, w tym jeziorze woda nie rozpieszczała temperaturą. Mimo to pospacerowałam w niej trochę. Dno było miękkie i przyjemnie się po nim szło. Poza tym woda w tym jeziorze jest bardzo przejrzysta i mimo późnej pory widać było co znajduje się na dnie.

Near the shore, a flock of ducks and grebes sat on a fallen log.

Niedaleko brzegu, na powalonym pniu siedziało stado kaczek i perkozów.

At one point I sat down on the wooden pier and watched the water, the sunset, listened to the chirping of crickets. It was a beautiful moment of connection with nature, a break from the stress of everyday life. It's great to "charge the life-giving batteries" like this.

W pewnym momencie usiadłam na drewnianym pomoście i obserwowałam wodę, zachód słońca, słuchałam cykanie świerszczy. To był piękny moment połączenia z naturą, odpoczynku od stresu codziennego życia. Fajnie jest "ładować życiodajne baterie" w ten sposób.
