Paseo Narváez reflection of Matanzas art.

Hello Pinmapple friends, this is my first publication in this community. I love the theme of this community because traveling is one of the greatest pleasures for me, so I hope to be an active member of it.

Matanzas is a very rich city on a cultural level and Paseo Narváez has become a beautiful showcase of the cultural complexity of this city. This walk located very close to the mouth of the San Jun River mixes music from the music conservatory of the city of Matanzas, with the plastic arts from the schools and workshops that are located along the walk with the gastronomy of many restaurants that thanks Due to their location, they do not need more decoration than the landscape that surrounds them.

Thanks to the restoration of the promenade as part of urban intervention projects, this area has gained great popularity both for tourism and among city residents attracted by the charm and magic that it houses in every meter it comprises. At any time of the day it is an ideal place to walk, rest on its benches overlooking the river, eat in the restaurants, enjoy the music and if you are passionate about the plastic arts like me, sneak into one of the galleries-workshops. It could be a fantastic decision, I personally was impressed by the variety, quality and beauty of the works already exhibited and those that are still in the hands of their creators. It seems as if you were walking through an immense gallery, the visual stimulation caused by the sculptures along the walk makes it an inspiring walk and between the smells and the fresh air coming from the river and the sea, anyone who visits will enter a state of relaxation and harmony; That's part of its magic.

The architecture is not far behind either, it is quite peculiar and old, thanks to the restoration processes to which it was subjected, it once again shows in a splendid way what was at some point the settlement of families with great economic power. Thanks to the flow of the San Juan River, families who were dedicated to commerce and mainly to the production of sugar built their homes near the river, mixing the architecture of their homes with warehouses that faced directly to the river.
