Ly Son – Paradise Of The Islands

MY TRIP TO "LY SON" ISLAND IN 2018

Hello everyone, today I will take you to an island - although not too big - but it is known as the paradise of islands in Vietnam. With lava rock, with clear blue sea, garlic fields growing up on sand and gravel or great seafood dishes, Ly Son island is a place that anyone wishes to once set foot in.

Where is “Ly Son” island?

Ly Son Island is one of the great tourist destinations in the central region, the only island district of Quang Ngai province. Ly Son island district is 15 nautical miles (about 27km) from the mainland and includes Big Island, Be Island, and Mu Cu Island. “Be” Island (also known as An Binh Island) is a very small island with an area of 0.69 km2 and is located about 7 km from Big Island.

How can we get there?

From Da Nang city, it takes us 2h30 to get to the “Sa Ky” port by taxi. After that, we will buy tickets to board the train ( around $15 for round trip). And it takes us 45 minutes to get from the mainland to the big island. If you want to go to the small island, you will have to rent a canoe and get there in about 15 minutes ($5 for one person).

The best time to go to Ly Son island
The best time to go to Ly Son is from June to September. The weather is quite nice and sunny, suitable for going to the beach.

What's attractive about Ly Son Island?

Ly Son Island is known to many people as a paradise in the middle of the vast ocean. Everyone who comes to Ly Son is fascinated and keeps their memories unforgettable.

Ly Son – blue sea, white sand, sunshine is one of the most wonderful things that cannot be missed. Although the area is quite small, Ly Son owns wonderful beaches with fine white sand, surrounded by magnificent lava cliffs.

Coming to Ly Son, immerse in the blue water and relaxing in the beautifu nature are unforgettable experiences for every visitor.

On the coast, there are also green coconut trees, where visitors can organize overnight camping to enjoy swimming, snorkeling, watching coral, ...

One thing I highly recommend everyone is to spend the night on the small island to feel the breath of the sea at night. The calmness of the sea, the salty taste of the steam, the whispering call of the ripples will make you immerse yourself in nature

The dishes with the cuisine of the sea, with many famous seafood dishes such as lobster, crab, snail will definitely not disappoint you.
