Ca Mau is the southernmost coastal province of Vietnam. There is a very diverse and rich mangrove ecosystem here. And there are also works such as the national coordinate landmark, the symbol of Ca Mau Cape.
1. Where is Ca Mau cape located?
Ca Mau Cape is about 100km from the center of Ca Mau city and is also known as Bai Bung cape. This is a famous tourist destination of Ca Mau because of its rich mangrove ecosystem, verdant nature and many unique dishes.
2. What time of year should you go to Ca Mau Cape?
It usually rains a lot from May to October here. The water in the river is very high this time, especially the flood. Therefore, when you go to these stages, you will face many difficulties and may affect your trip.
The dry season begins in December and ends in April of the following year. However, coming to Ca Mau cape in the dry season is also very interesting because you can participate in many activities such as river bathing, rowing...
3. Ca Mau Cape
"The bow of the ship" is a monument erected in the shape of a sail ship with a height of 21m. I don't know why this name is called that by the people here, but maybe it is derived from Ca Mau which is the last cape on the map of Vietnam.
In order to show the morality "When drinking water, think of its source” the lowith sacred affection and responsibility for the history of Vietnam people, the local people here built the statue of Mother.
This southernmost landmark of Vietnam belongs to Ngoc Hien district, more than 100km from the center of Ca Mau city. This is also the last point of Ho Chi Minh road.
This is one of the four poles marking Vietnam's territory on the mainland. The North pole is Lung Cu Flagpole (Ha Giang), the West pole is Apa Chai commune (Muong Nhe, Dien Bien), the East pole is Mui Doi (Van Ninh, Khanh Hoa) and the South pole is GPS 0001 National Coordinate Landmark. (Dat Mui, Ca Mau).
Coming to Ca Mau is not only for sightseeing but also the wish of many people to once come to the last place of the country, to know how beautiful our country is, 4 landmarks at 4 poles of Vietnam is always the top target of travel enthusiasts.
Thanks for reading my experience. Hope to share more interesting about my country to you.
Jonas.
