The temple complex is located at the hills, so you can see the view of the city including the downtown of Cebu and other other near places. The temple is open for all long as you respect the temple’s sacredness, especially in the dress code, avoiding shorts and sleeveless tops. Additionally maintaining the silence is important in the temple.

Walking around the temple you will be amazed by the temple's dragons which symbolize protection and strength. The temple has also balconies where you can relax and refresh in the fresh air. If you want also to have a remembrance of the temple aside from your amazing pictures you can also buy a souvenir from the temple. The ambiance of the place is so amazing, this temple dedicate in Cebu City’s history, culture, and spirituality heritage.

My Experience In the Taoist Temple

On my recent first visit to this temple, I was amazed because of its ambiance the peace and calm of the place make me feel like it's such a good place to relax and refresh. Roaming around I witnessed how this temple is maintained and preserved from the worship areas, its sculpture and more that I can say it is such a perfect place for everyone who finds peace and answers in their mind. I was amazed also because lots of people local to foreign visited this temple because of its unique spiritual heritage. For me, it was such a memorable experience visiting this kind of temple.

How To Get There

If you are from Cebu City, you can take a jeep that indicates 04L which is going to Lahug, and request to stop near the road going to Taoist Temple. I highly advise taking a taxi so that you can directly go to the temple because if just take habal-habal (motorcycle) you will stop at the main gate which is too far from the temple, you need to walk to the temple because this motorcycle is prohibited to enter going to temple so must advice take a taxi. If you have also a private car you can easily get there just give your ID to the main gate before you can enter. Don't worry the temple has a parking lot area.
