Bantayan Island Escapade | Cherished Moments

Sometimes, we tend to deprive ourselves of costly travel yet prefer a budget-friendly trip. However, I might say that the travel I had to Bantayan Island was my "expensive" travel in my whole life. I have never been outside Cebu or abroad that's why it's quite expensive for me😁. This travel cost 3,000 pesos or 53.37 USD including my fare, meals, and pasalubong for my family which was dried fish. To some, who travelled a lot, this budget would be just a penny for them, but you know I would love to travel with less expenses but with great experiences!

And allow me to share with you, our travel to Bantayan Island last year. This is our Bantayan Island Escapade

As soon as we arrived at the pier, we asked tricycle drivers to take us to Jelly's Haven Resort. This was one of our itineraries.

When we got there, taking some photos of the wooden-made carved name of the resort. I felt like I was a tourist. Heheh. Their pathways were scattered gravel compared to others were cemented moreover, I liked it this way🥰.

Before we proceeded to its magnificent resort. We paid 200 pesos or 3.56 USD for the entrance fee however, it's consumable. Their decorations look so cute. It was after Christmas vacation but still, Christmas is in the corner. How lovely🥰

Jelly's Haven Resort

Jelly's Haven Resort is a 3-star beach hotel nestled in the heart of Santa Fe. Some people come and enjoy its relaxing beach and its tranquil vibes. Its signature colorful and vibrant umbrellas amazingly hung above as protection from sun rays.

The resort has bedrooms to accommodate travelers and guests. Or a group of barkadas who plan for an overnight trip. Moreover, a perfect place for a honeymoon😉.

Inside its premise is a restaurant, which is a plus point for those travelers looking for an affordable inn. Remember that we paid for an entrance? And yes! I chose the exact amount of consumables. It was our "second" meal for breakfast. Hehe. You know me, I really love coffee, so, among us, I was the only one who ordered coffee😪.

After a scrumptious meal, we looked for something useful for the beach at this boutique. They sell beach wear and those white and elegant dresses captured our attention. They were beautiful. A true definition of simple yet elegant. They have different styles yet each one of them stands out.

Then, a snap at the rattan-made capsule-like shed. I don't exactly know what is this yet I appreciate how difficult it this to make. It's such a catchy corner in this resort with its grass mat and a well-decorated entrance.

We would never leave the resort without experiencing its beach. Along its beach were beach loungers, beach cottages, and a beach mini bar. I think partygoers might love this ambiance at night.

It was such bad timing since it was low tide and a gloomy day. We've never experienced its salty water. The white sand never failed to amuse me. We don't have much a do, so we took photos from here.

Ma'am Lerre, Ma'am Jera (with her husband), Sir Lee, and I had an unforgettable memory here in Jelly's. The friendships we built and the experiences we've shared come at once to become a memory. I had never expected this one to happen since were both skeptical about coming here however Ma'am Lerre pushed to the limit that I seconded the motion.

There are times in life when we less expect it, the more it happens.
