Last day of 2025! Wow, how fast time flew by! But I'm so glad it was one of the years where I thought about time the least. I maintained a positive attitude towards life, and many things came to me naturally, simply by focusing on the belief that everything would be alright. There's still a long way to go; I'm only 37, and I just hope that life continues to fill me with wisdom through the lessons that experience teaches. I want to write my last post of the year on Hive, inspired by my new favorite community and the city I discovered a few months ago, Rome... I may not have traveled anywhere else, but believe me, the Italian capital is worth many more trips! 😅

¡Último día del año 2025!. ¡Wow, qué rápido pasó el tiempo!, pero me alegra mucho que fue uno de los años en que menos he considerado el tiempo. Mantuve una actitud positiva ante la vida y muchas cosas llegaron a mí naturalmente, solo enfocado en que todo estaría bien. Aún hay mucho camino por recorrer, solo tengo 37 y solo deseo que la vida me siga llenando de sabiduría a través de las lecciones que da la experiencia. Quiero escribir mi último del año en Hive inspirado en mi nueva comunidad preferida y en la ciudad que conocí hace unos meses, Roma... Quizás no fui a ninguna otra parte, pero créanme que la capital de Italia vale por muchos viajes más 😅

Until I was 35, I hadn't had the opportunity to leave my country, but things have changed, and for very good reasons. We went to Colombia to participate in a singing competition, and we also got to see Europe while traveling as members of my choral group. I must confess that Rome was a pleasant surprise for us. You only have to look at these photographs to appreciate how beautiful it is; I'm not just talking about its impressive monuments like the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum, or historical sites like the Vatican or Castel Sant'Angelo, but also its cobblestone streets, architecture, and overall design. I'm not saying that my own country doesn't have all of this, but it's clear that this city has been thoughtfully planned to attract tourism and to provide its inhabitants with a better quality of life.

Hasta mis 35 años no había tenido oportunidad de salir de mi país, pero las cosas han cambiado y siempre por motivos principales, ya que fuimos a Colombia para participar en un concurso de canto y conocimos Europa viajando como miembro de mi agrupación coral. Debo confesar que Roma fue una grata sorpresa para nosotros, y es que solo tienen que mirar estas fotografías para apreciar lo hermosa que es; no hablo solo de sus imponentes monumentos como la Fontana di Trevi y el Coliseo, o lugares históricos como el Vaticano o el Castillo de Sant'Angelo, sino de sus calles de piedra, arquitectura y orden. No digo que mi propio país no tenga todo esto, pero se nota que esta ciudad ha sido bien pensada para atraer el turismo y para que sus habitantes tengan una mejor calidad de vida.

My recommendations for visiting Rome are to buy tickets in advance for the most iconic sites, as it can be almost impossible to do so on the same day you want to visit them due to the sheer number of people. I'm referring mainly to the Roman Colosseum and the Vatican Museums. For other things, you can save a lot of money on food if you venture away from the most popular tourist areas, and although there are places where the entrance fees aren't very high, like the Pantheon, there are many historical sites you can visit for free. Another thing that I, as a Christian, really appreciated is that I didn't have to pay to visit the Catholic churches, unlike during my trip to Spain.

Mis recomendaciones para visitar Roma es comprar con anticipación las entradas para los lugares más icónicos, ya que puede ser casi imposible hacerlo el mismo día que deseas visitarlo por la cantidad de personas que los visitan, y me refiero principalmente al Coliseo Romano y a los Museos Vaticanos, del resto se puede economizar mucho a la hora de comer si te alejas de los lugares más emblemáticos, y aunque hay lugares donde el precio de las entradas no son tan altos, como en el Panteón, hay muchos lugares históricos que puedes visitar gratis. Otra cosa que como cristiano me agradó mucho es que no tuve que pagar para visitar las iglesias católicas, a diferencia de mi visita a España.

All that's left for me is to say goodbye to 2025 with these beautiful memories and the immense desire to continue exploring places both inside and outside my country. This trip to Rome was wonderful, even though it was a work trip. Although I thoroughly enjoy the music, we still have a very tight schedule on these international tours. I hope to return to these places with more time and discover new ones, to truly enjoy the sights, the friendships, and the experiences. It's good to have dreams and maintain a positive attitude to attract good things, but ultimately, everything depends on God and the destiny He has planned for us. Focus on continuing to work on what you do best, and everything else will fall into place. And never stop helping others; nothing truly belongs to us, and these selfless acts nourish your soul, and I firmly believe that life rewards you in some way... Today I complete a full year of daily posts, wow! And yet, I'm more in love with Hive than ever ❤️ I hope you'll join me throughout 2026 as well 🙏

No me queda más que despedir el 2025 con estos bellos recuerdos y las enormes ganas de seguir conociendo lugares dentro y fuera de mi país. Este viaje a Roma fue hermoso, y aún así fue un viaje de trabajo, que aunque disfruto mucho de la música, seguimos teniendo una agenda muy apretada en estas giras internacionales. Espero volver con más tiempo a estos lugares y conocer nuevos, para disfrutar de los espacios, las amistades y las experiencias. Es bueno desear y tener una actitud positiva para atraer lo bueno, pero al final todo depende de Dios y el destino que tiene para nosotros. Enfóquense en seguir trabajando en lo que mejor hacen y lo demás vendrá solo, y nunca dejen de ayudar a otras personas, nada nos pertenece, y esas acciones desinteresadas nutren tu alma, y creo fielmente que la vida lo retribuye de alguna manera... Hoy culmino un año entero de publicaciones diarias, ¡wow! y aún así, cada vez estoy más enamorado de Hive ❤️ Espero que me acompañe durante todo mi 2026 también 🙏
