Four years ago I decided to leave Venezuela looking for a better future. Although it has not gone as I wanted, I will tell you about my journey by land, which took me around 15 days.
I'll start with this photo. That night was the last dinner with my family. They are my mom, my stepfather and my little brother who stayed in Venezuela.
I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was very anxious about what was going to wait for me on the trip. and sad for everything he left behind.
my first trip was from barquisimeto to the border with colombia it lasted about 10 hours
then from the border to the bogota terminal. last about 12 hours
then went from bogota to the border with ecuador the famous rumichaca bridge
take about 15 hours to arrive. and a place where it was very cold.
after rumichaca crossing all of ecuador until reaching tumbes - peru it was around 30 hours
At this point I was already tired but I had to continue and I took a bus from Tumbes to Lima, the capital of Peru, where the trip lasted more than 20 hours and I met a friend who was going to visit and he would show me a little about the landscapes of the city.
that day I arrived tired we went to know a little the nocturnal city. and the next day, after resting and bathing, we went to chorrillos, a very nice place on the coast.
I love the sea and the view I had from that place was amazing
it was a pretty nice area of a high social class
taking advantage of taking photos. I think photos are beautiful memories
Well there were many more photos but I will continue telling you about my journey that lasted about 3 days in Lima while I was resting from the long trip and getting to know each other. but my goal was to get to santiago to reunite with my younger brother. so the trip from lima to the border of chile chacalluta began again, it was more than 20 hours. But I had finally arrived and was very close to meeting my brother.
The last trip to Santiago was missing. another trip of more than 30 hours. until finally I had arrived and I met my brother. It was a very happy moment for both
Arriving I already had a job but it is another story that I will tell you in another publication. That day I arrived at night and we went to rest. the next day i went to see the famous costanera center
And with this photo I say goodbye. never give up and fight for your goals no matter how difficult they are
