How are you all? Hopefully you are all well. Even now I am writing in the car because I want to tell many interesting things about the largest private museum in the city of Yogyakarta. Initially because it was suggested by a friend, maybe someone like me needs it.

Why me? Because one of the places that always interests me is the museum. Museums seem to have their own magnet for me, not because I want to learn something, but museums are always interesting because they have stories on every side. Ulen Sentalu has that, a private museum that gives a new color to the city of Yogyakarta.

There are so many museums in Yogyakarta, that's why Yogyakarta is called the 'Special City'. More or less civilization was born in this city, and it was even the capital city of Indonesia during the colonial era. So, it is not wrong if there are many stories in the past that are finally museumed. Including the story about the Keraton Royal Palace which is always sexy to tell to the general public. Doesn't the story about the contents and inside of the royal palace make many people interested? Especially the kingdom that once flourished until now.

Ulen Sentalu has something to tell from various artifacts and relics. In fact, the royal palace blanket can be told. How the blanket became the king's favorite, the robe or clothes owned by the queen, even more than that, the smallest things from royal life are also told here. Of course, all of this cannot be separated from the full support of the kingdom for this museum.

If you know, all the items, artifacts and stories are revealed in one place. However, because everything has its own permit and has been patented, not just anyone can take pictures. One of the requirements for entering Ulen Sentalu besides buying a ticket is to maintain the privacy of this place. All participants are prohibited from taking pictures in this place. Of course, guided by a guide, we were told all about the contents of Ulen Sentalu.

There are only a few places that can be used for taking pictures. Of course without any prohibitions except to maintain politeness. This huge museum is like a house in the forest, very cold, has very clean air, cool, but still looks very elegant with its modern architectural form. No one would have thought this was a museum. Maybe at first you will think this place is the house of someone who has a lot of money and land.

There are 3 types of tours in Ulen Sentalu; Adiluhung Mataram, Vorstenlanden, Skriptorium.

These three types of tours have different stories. Like Adiluhung Mataram, which tells the story of the palace, Javanese philosophy, art, culture and history through the medium of paintings, statues, photos and some palace relics.

Vorstenlanden, as well as the story of Dutch colonialism for 350 years in Yogyakarta, how about the relationship between the Dutch government and the Yogyakarta Kingdom, the acculturation of the Dutch - Java - Chinese and at the end of the session there will be an interesting treat to drink tea and cake.

While Skriptorium, tells the story of prehistoric relics and the timeline of the Javanese earth. There are also many artifacts stored in the Skriptorium that will take you to the past that you never imagined before, through several researches conducted over the past eight years.

One of my favorites is that this place is really very unique. Different concepts make us always amazed by the efforts made so that everyone can enjoy history through several mediums (paintings, artifacts, photos).

If you really want to know all about Yogyakarta and Java, I highly recommend this place for you to enjoy as a medium of entertainment when you travel to Yogyakarta. All the stories will be very interesting, the guide will be very helpful in telling us everything about Ulen Sentalu and the clean air of this well-maintained place. All will be very worth the cost, in my opinion it is very profitable, when the money paid gets an extraordinary interesting experience and information.
