Our adventure in the astonishing group of Islands in Pangasinan Philippines is not yet over. For today's blog, we will hop in at a one-of-a-kind Island that everyone wants to visit and explore. This is one of the top islands for island hopping in Hundred's Island of Alaminos Pangasinan and I am excited to share it with you guys.
So, Let's go, join me to explore this place !
" Welcome To Quezon Island "
The Island we've been talking about is named Quezon Island. It is named after one of the Philippine Presidents Manuel L. Quezon, the second president of the country who made a great distribution in developing the Philippines. Because of its beautiful features and many activities, this is one of the favorite destinations for Both Locals and Tourists.
This Island has a lot to offer that Im sure you will love to experience, Some of the Feature highlights and activities you need to know are the following;
- It's Natural Beauty - of course, this is why it's very well known to everyone. Its natural beauty entices travelers to come on and discover its shining beauty. As you see in the photos it's very da*n attractive.
- Scuba Diving and Snorkeling - Marine life in this area is very healthy and abundance of natural resources. On this Island, you can experience and explore underneath by availing of their diving tours where you can explore the corals and discover other marine species. I really want to try it but It's a bit out of our budget 🤣, Maybe next time.
- Banana Boat and UFO Riding - This is one of the fun and exciting activities you will try on this Island. It is a bit extreme I think until we tried it. Will, we expect we will fly when we ride it but It's kind we handle it gently. We never float out in the ride. So don't be scared to try it.
- Kayaking and Paddleboarding - If you love to explore around its perimeter, you can rent out a kayak with your friends and explore it.
Camping - Camping is also allowed on this Island, you can rent a tent on the island management or bring your own one.
Trekking - yeah, it sound surprising to have this one even though the Island is small in size. There is a trail on the island going to the view deck where you can see the panoramic view of the beach and the nearby Island.
The Island is more developed compared to other Other islands. Facilities are built and complete. It has picnic tables, restrooms, grilling stations, and cottages that can be used for day use or overnight stays. There is also a Pavillion building where you can do some events. In this building, you will find a restaurant where you can order foods such as fresh fish and crabs. You don't need to worry about your basic niceties on this Island cause they offer you that.
We've had our lunch on this Island since it's already noon and ordered food at this restaurant. We stay on the Second Floor where you have a beautiful overview of the Island. By the way, if you prefer bring your own food. It's not a problem. They allow it as long you order something on the Restaurant.
I loved the food, it was a bit homie on my test buds, I remember the dish my mom always prepared for us when we had some outings on the beach like this.
Location
The Island is suited To Hundred Islands Natural Park of Alaminos Pangasinan Philippines. The transportation is via boat where you can ride from the Lucap Wharf. Usually takes you 20 minutes to reach the Island, depending also on weather conditions.
To experience this make sure to include this Island on your itinerary on Exploring this magical place of Pangasinan Philippines.
Travel Tips
Best Time to Visit - The favorable time to visit is the summer season, Which is from February to May when the weather is good for beach activities.
What to Bring - Bring your own sunblock, hats, and sunglasses to protect you from the sun. You can bring your water and some snacks to always be hydrated and full of energy.
Be a Responsible Traveler -Always respect the nature and rules of the Island. Don't leave a mark on your trash anywhere.
So far, of all the islands we've visited in this place, Quezon Island is the best. From pristine Beach with fine white sand and crystal clear water that you can dive in. The complete facilities can cater to and accommodate the tourists and give them the service they want. And of course, the fun and exciting activities you can try. This place can offer the beach day you deserve.
We have fun and enjoy this place. Our eyes captured a lot of scenic views and beautiful areas. I will definitely be back on this island. I missed a lot of some of the activities and we didn't explore its entire place when we visited. Of course, the place is recommendable and worth it to visit. You will love this place for sure.
