Camotes Island is a group of islands located east of Cebu Philippines. It is one of the known tourist destinations and is considered one of the best summer spots on the island. From the pristine Beaches, Enchanted Caves, waterfalls, and beautiful resorts that will accommodate your vacation. This place deserves to be on your bucket list when adventuring the Philippines.
One of the five-star resorts on the Island is the Mangodlong Paradise Beach Resort. Its pristine beach, villa design, and tranquility vibe are some highlights you should experience in this place and of course, the Filipino foods they offer.
One year ago, March 26, 2023, this island became our euphoria for our company summer outing and this beautiful resort gave us the best accommodation we have. When we arrived on the island, we weren't going to the resort directly, We went first to the beaches and visited some caves since our check-in time was 2:00 pm. So we enjoy first roaming around and diving into the beautiful beaches on the Island.
It was 4:00 pm when we arrived at our accommodation, we enjoyed so much the beach and the scenery of the Island. We did some activities on our first day we were tired already and wanted a quick rest in bed. So, after check-in, we go directly to our rooms, place our things, and rest for a while. We didn't notice it was already dusk When we went out for a little exploration of the resort. We were a bit excited about this part cause we know that the sunset on this resort is one thing we are looking forward to. We all go out and stand in the pool area where the best sunset view is located.
Look at this view, worth it to discover. This is the time when we are all silent and enjoying the enticing view of the sunset. I know everyone is tired of activities before we reach the resort, but I am sure they are all relieved and recharged with this view.
At night, we go out for dinner in a restaurant on the Island, afterward we go back to the resort and have some drinks with my colleagues. We stay up until midnight, have fun, enjoy the music with each other, and know more about ourselves. It was my first time joining with them in a summer outing and the team was a blast.
On our second Day, I woke up by 7:00 am and went directly to the resort restaurant for our free breakfast and coffee. It is delightful and fit for our morning appetite. I appreciate the design of the restaurant, it is a tropical design like with their other villas, It gives a natural vibe, and It has a nice location where you can see the ocean while eating your food.
After breakfast, We start roaming around we first walk under the coconut palm trees area, which is just beside the restaurant, and next we go to its adjacent part which is the pool area. The pool is huge and it has an infinite look toward the ocean. Then, we go to this cafe area on the beach part where you will be amazed by the crystal clear view of the water.
Surprising Beach Front
This crystal clear water surprised me and I never expected that this would be the beach area on this resort. I never saw it during Day One since it's already dark when we go out of our room. It's jaw-dropping when we reach this part of the beach. The torques color of the water and the fine white sand of the beach make the place addictive.
This is the best part for me in the resort, We stayed here for an Hour, enjoying this view and when we saw our other colleagues swimming, we went change quickly and also enjoyed the ocean's cold water.
The sand is fine and perfect for sitting down and sunbathing. You will also explore the marine life around the resort. you can do free diving and snorkeling, You will sure love seeing the beautiful corals and marine animals beneath.
We have fun at this resort and exceed our expectations. This is an unforgettable experience we had last year. I can say this place is recommendable for your staycation on Camotes Island Cebu.
