It’s been 4 years since I have moved to Manali and I still cannot get over this place. It’s beauty is remarkable and people from all over the world come to see this beauty.
Manali is a tourist place and every year, millions of people come to visit at all different weather. I meet new people everyday and it feels great to know about different people and their culture and language.
There is a place which came to lime light after the famous Atal tunnel was built after the lockdown. It is a tunnel which is the longest high altitude tunnel ever built. It is 9 kms long and it is situated at the hight of 10,000 feet. It connects Kullu district to Lahaul and Spiti district. It is the main highway to Leh Laddakh.
On the other side of the tunnel, things seems different. Beautiful Chandra river between huge himalayan mountains which are covered in snow most of the time.
This place became very easy to access after the tunnel was made. Before tunnel was made, it took 9-10 hours from Manali to reach here but now it only take 1 hour from Manali and roads are pretty amazing.
We had a really great time here. It is autumn season and river is so blueish and everything is so colourful. Soon it is going to snow here and the scenery will be different after that. This is the beauty of this place. It is different on all seasons.
