Timișoara - the city of flowers and great culture

in Worldmappinlast year

Romania is a country in Europe worth visiting. I can't write about its capital because I have never visited it, still not(but it is on my list for the future trips).I will write about the third largest city in Romania , that I visited recently and it really fulfilled my expectations . I was really surprised by its beauty.
I remember the time when my parents went to Timisoara for shopping, 30 years ago that city was a big trading center.

Some call it the city of parks, museums, music festivals, and sometimes they call it Little Vienna.

For people from Serbia, it is important because it is the biggest cultural and historical center of Serbs in Romania. It is only 160 kilometers away from the capital of Serbia, where I live, and the neighborhood of it allows us to visit it and enjoy very much. I choose it whenever I have free time to travelling.

What I noticed is that the streets are not as crowded as in Belgrade, and the streets and parks are clean and tidy.

The promenade is full of flowers and trees, which particularly delighted me.

The city is full of various squares, parks, museums, I especially like that there are many corners for children and a lot of playgrounds.

If you want to go shopping, visit the Julijus shopping center as well as other hypermarkets. There are all brands and the food and restaurants are affordable.
The city center is one large pedestrian zone, so it is the right choice for walking with small children.
