This time, I would like to explore our last trip to New Hampshire. A quick short visit to Concord, the capital city of the state of New Hampshire. It features a charming, walkable downtown, the gold-domed State House, made in 1816, rich Revolutionary history, and diverse cultural and architectural attractions. we had been to the commercial streets on earlier trips but never to the governmental section. It was a spur-of-the-moment visit, not at all a planned trip.
Hello, friends, travellers, and community members! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying time with your loved ones. Now most everything is in order here, so I can spend some more time on my interesting Hive world. Today, exploring the place, the capital of New Hampshire state, Concord. A beautiful historical and cultural town. As well, the architecture in the center of town is amazing.
One day we had to drive to Concord. I asked my husband for just an hour to see downtown, especially the governmental area. My husband was in a hurry, but he was kind enough to approve my request, because he was mainly concerned with the uncertain future of my Brother-in-law. and thought this might be the last time we come to NH.
It was windy and cold so we were not prepared for a long walk in town. But for a short time, we managed.
We parked our car and paid the meter for an hour.
As soon as I got out of the car, I saw the golden dome of the State House, the churches, the State Library, the old post office, the historical society, court building. all are around me. A very interesting and beautiful classical architecture.

Driving on the highway in New Hampshire is more enjoyable during the autumn, watching the colorful https://ecency.com/hive-106444/@hindavi/smap-contest-birds-and-foodoliage and mountains, and the vibrant shades of trees. The roads are safe, I think everybody enjoys driving around these beautifully landscaped roads here.

The St. Paul School. we crossed this building and came to Park Street, where many beautiful buildings are located.

The United States Post Office and Courthouse are located in this nice building.

New Hampshire, the historical society building.

Centre Point church, where visitors can park their cars in a small parking lot. Opposite the church of Christ Scientist, a beautiful Gothic architecture.

the rear side of the State House. the building is very appealing from all sides.

This nice building on North Main Street is the State House, the main Entrance. We didn't have time to go inside, but what is saw from outside was amazing. It was an impressive exterior, especially the statues/memorials around the building and a replica of the Liberty Bell.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church. This is made of red bricks; in the whole area, it looks very bright when the sunshine shines on it.

The state library building and the front of it, Full full-sized bronze statue of Gov. Winant, stands on the front lawn of the NH State Library on Park Street. The entrance is free, but we had no time for that. I am sure it should be a very nice interior.

Centre Point church from the rear side.

I heard about all those statues located here; they are local leaders.

One panoramic view of the State House.

Many attractive private residences and offices are also located on Main street.

A 650-pound 1800s clock and a 2,032-pound solid steel 1800s bell,
on Eagle Square. I took this photo from the car because we were in a hurry. And this is what I saw in downtown Concord, New Hampshire.
Thank you for stopping by. Take care, see you soon.
