Today I want to tell you about a walk I recently had with my boyfriend and his friends, to one of the magical places of my beautiful Venezuela, Colonia Tovar❤️. For those who do not know, Colonia Tovar is a small town away from the city that was founded in 1843 by a group of German immigrants, forming a small German community within our country, who transformed the town into a tourist area with architecture of Colonial Germany, in addition to the culture so characteristic of them✨.
Hoy quiero contarles sobre un paseo recién que tuve con mi novio y sus amigos, a uno de los lugares mágicos de mi hermosa Venezuela, la Colonia Tovar❤️. Para quienes no lo sepan, la Colonia Tovar es un pequeño pueblo apartado de la ciudad que fué fundado en el año 1843 por un grupo de inmigrantes Alemanes, formándose una pequeña comunidad Alemana dentro de nuestro país, quienes transformaron el pueblo en un área turística con arquitectura de la Alemania Colonial, además de la cultura tan característica de ellos✨
My boyfriend and his friends decided to go on a Saturday afternoon, traveling in caravan type vans, making the beautiful journey full of fog to arrive first to "Jarillo", which is a town near Colonia Tovar that shares the same culture as them. There we stopped to take some pictures and then we went back to Colonia Tovar. It is worth mentioning that I had not visited this town since I was 10 years old, so I was very excited because it felt like my first time!
Mi novio y sus amigos decidieron ir un sábado por la tarde, viajando en camionetas tipo caravana, haciendo el hermoso recorrido lleno de neblina para llegar primero al "Jarillo", el cuál es una localidad cercana a la Colonia Tovar que comparte la misma cultura que ellos. Allí nos detuvimos para tomar algunas fotografías y luego retomamos nuevamente nuestro comino hacia la Colonia Tovar. Cabe destacar que yo no visitaba esta localidad desde los 10 años, asi que me sentía muy emocionada porque se sentía como mi primera vez!
When we arrived, we took a car ride through the whole town, until we reached a beautiful place called "Chocolatico", which sold delicious strawberries with cream and hot chocolate, with a bonfire located in the middle of the terrace and with a simply beautiful view, where we ordered our strawberries with cream and sat down to have a super nice conversation with each other.
Cuando llegamos, dimos un paseo en carro por toda la localidad, hasta llegar a un hermoso local llamado "Chocolatico", el cuál vendían una riquisimas fresas con crema y chocolate caliente, con una fogata ubicada en el medio de la terraza y con una vista simplemente hermosa, donde pedimos nuestras fresas con crema y nos sentamos a tener una conversación súper amena entre todos.
When we finished, we set out to walk around the center of town to find a restaurant and have dinner, until we found a very nice one that sold pizzas with different toppings. We decided that each couple would order a different type of pizza and then share it to try different flavors. My boyfriend and I ordered the Pizza Capressa which was simply delicious. When we finished we made our way back to our city singing, talking and culminating that afternoon
Al finalizar, nos dispusimos a caminar el centro de la localidad para encontrar un restaurante y cenar, hasta que ubicamos uno muy bonito que vendían pizzas de distintos ingredientes. Decidimos que cada pareja pediría un tipo de pizza diferente para luego compartirla y así probar distintos sabores. Mi novio y yo pedimos la Pizza Capressa que estaba simplemente deliciosa. Cuando terminamos hicimos nuestro viaje de retorno a nuestra ciudad cantando, conversando y culminando esa tarde de paseo con los mejores ánimos.
