Location:
Sitio Hangaron is located at the mountainous place in Naawan, Misamis Oriental. It takes many kilometers away from the National road and it takes a few hours before it will arrived or reach the place. This is quitely really far from any crowded places just like in National Highway, Public Market, Schools and any different kinds of establishments. This place is also far from any houses located in the Sitio and only 2 structures can be seen here, an old and abandoned Poultry and a kitchen. From Barangay Poblacion Manticao, it needs to travel a few hours and this is also a border point between the two Municipalities here in Misamis Oriental.
From the mountain slope areas, there are lots of trees planted. It helps the mountains avoided of being eroded due to heavy rains and floods. Most of the trees can be seen here are Germilina and Mahogany, and all of this are perfect for any construction porpuses just like Walls, floors, cabinets and any other kinds of furnitures. This place was very cool because of the trees in here, lots of wild animals and birds tweeting and perching on branches tree building its nests.
Even if it is at the middle of those trees, still there are some few structures built and the example of this is this house. It is made of concrete and some light materials just like lumbers and bamboo pieces. It builts to a mountain slopes at the middle of Germilina Trees. This house is very unique because of its design.
The place is filled with cogon grass, a kind of wild grass contains sharp tip on its leaves. It grows in different areas either mountainous places and plain areas. This leaves can create itchy to our skin that is why it needs to walk very slowly and carefully.
This rocky road will lead to the mountain were those abandoned structures can be found. This is very slope places and it needs to be more careful by walking to avoid any slippery happens. This is one of the Barangay Road here in the Municipality. It takes a few minutes before it reached up the place bit it is still very worth it because wonderful areas and a great views. Every rainy season, this road is covered with lots of stones and peebles. When there is a rain, this place is covered with muddy and stones.
An Abandoned Structures:
As I finally arrived at the place, I've seen how beautiful the mountain is. The first picture represent on is an abandoned poultry farm last year there are almost 1000 Chicks but as many years has past, this structure was totally abandoned. This area is what I went, it contains lots of beautiful overviews including the neighboring mountains here in Naawan. The poultry is made of light materials just like bamboo pieces, lumbers, plainsheets as rooftops and few concretes that supports the base of the structures.
On the other hand, the kitchen is separated quitely far from the poultry, it is also made of light materials and some gardening and poultry tools can be seen on it. The area is already covered with wild grass and it built on the top of the Hill.
The Beautiful Over Views:
On the top of the mountain is the great overviews just like this one. It can already be seen the neighboring mountains and plain lands. Added for that, lots of native and hardwood trees also be seen. Those big chunks of clouds are kissing on the nearby mountains and a freshness of the air blown those trees. Traveling in this place is very fun and enjoyable, we can truly experience how peaceful and quite the area is and aside of that, it is fit to all people who loves mountain climbing adventure.
