In this article today I would like to talk about a villa built by Andrea Palladio in 1537 it is Villa godi Malinverni which is located a few kilometers from the Vicenza capital and not far from Thiene and Marostica.

I was lucky enough to visit it a few months ago because for work I had to prepare a banquet for a big event and therefore I was able to spend the whole day there and then get to know it thoroughly.

Naturally it is part of the immense patrimony created by Andrea Palladio which counts 24 villas only in the province of Vicenza this villa was included in the 1996 list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The Villa is made up of 9 frescoed halls that are accessible from the large entrance loggia, of course, it is the classic Venetian villa, that is, the time was used as a noble country house.

The villa has been restored over the years, the heritage it preserves inside has reached the present day, and the villa inside houses frescoes belonging to two distinctly different pictorial schools, in the left and in the central hall you can visit Battista Zelotti at the classical school with Battista Del Moro, while on the right of the villa you can visit the Mystical school with Gualtiero Padovano.

as you can see, the villa is usually used for weddings or large events and this is how it is sustained economically

The Palladian villa also has a huge park that was arranged by Count Andrea Piovene and dates back to the last century inside then there is a little lion that I have not been able to photograph which houses the fossil museum practically the nobleman who lived in this villa had created a mini museum with exhibits of the fossils that had been found in the nearby stream.

During the Second World War the villa was the seat of the English command because there are remains of testimonies in the cellars of this villa of course the villa is also open to the public for visits not only for events so if you pass over there I highly recommend a visit because it is really worth it.
