Hello Hivers!
Upon walking into the camp, I was engulfed in its beauty. The lush green surroundings with cascading waterfalls are music to my ears and refreshing. The pure, clean air immediately made me feel calm and serene. One will find quite a lot of membership options that suit all ranges and tastes. I stayed in one of their cozy nipa huts, which were lodged amidst the trees and presented spectacular views of the adjoining forest. They were quite enough, and I woke up listening to the whispers of Mother Nature.
The Forest Camp is not all about relaxation in nature, it is full of activities to be enjoyed! I spent most of my time at different pools and waterfalls that I got to explore during my stay. The water sparkled against the sun like diamonds, a great means of cooling off on a hot day. I also liked swimming in the mini-pool, which has a water slide for fun. There are even zip lines and rappelling activities for thrill-seekers. This time, I did not have the chance to experience them, but they clearly look enjoyable.
Aside from these, The Forest Camp also houses a resto that offers appetizing local and international fare. I ate my dinner at the terrace, with some amazing views. As I munched my meal, I watched the sunset behind the trees in the forest, which was such a magical moment.
It is not very difficult to reach the Forest Camp, approximately a thirty-minute drive from Dumaguete City, a tricycle ride, or jeepney from the city center.
It was everything a trip to the Forest Camp was supposed to be-a very disillusioned and withdrawn from everyday life place for finding oneself in nature. Anyone in need of a restorative getaway should surely consider the place, Forest Camp. it's me @gelultimate back with my first blog of this week. I just want to share with you my experienced during my joyful visit in the Forest Camp at Dumaguete.
Recently, I visited the Forest Camp in Valencia, Dumaguete. It was an absolute fairy tale and a dreamy escapade. Imagine a world where nature fully reigns, and life is the real escape from the grips of everyday living. That's the kind of thing I actually found at the Forest Camp.

Here are those tips for your Forest Camp adventure:
- Book as early as possible especially during the peak season, the camp gets busy; you don't want to lose your chance.
- Have cash with you, even though some places are credit card-friendly, it is always better to have cash for smaller buys and for tipping.
- Pack light. Most movement will require much walking and exploring, so you wouldn't want to be carrying a heavy bag.
- Keep comfortable shoes because you'll be walking a lot on uneven terrain, and comfort is required.
- Bring insect repellent, the mosquitoes keep the forest very buggy, so insect repellents will keep the mosquitoes away.
- Relax and enjoy! The Forest Camp is a place to unwind and commune with nature, so take your time soaking in the atmosphere and enjoy the beauty of this lovely place.

This place is on another level! It looks so magical and stunning. To wake up from the birds' soft chirping and from the sound of the water running would be the best therapy one can ever get.
