From the time that I arrived, I knew this place was the perfect spot to recharge. Let me take you through the beauty of this stunning destination.

Getting There

To everyone who will visit, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa is located on Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines. My drive from Liloan was about 2 hours because it will depend on the time that you will go because we can't predict the traffic kidding aside. As soon as I reached the resort's entrance, I was greeted by tall swaying palm trees. It felt like a gateway to another world. I've been to different resort but this place is just wow! It's like some resort from another country.

A Tropical Paradise

When I entered the resort at that moment, I was captivated by its beauty. The open space, the sprawling lagoon pools, and the lush greenery made it feel like I had stepped into a tropical retreat. Everywhere I looked, there was something beautiful to admire, the wooden walkways over the water, colorful gardens, and shady spots perfect for relaxing. The design was just perfect for me, when you wanted to take a pic you can take it everywhere from the place.
I must say that the lagoons were totally breathtaking. These weren't ordinary swimming pools because they looked like natural bodies of water surrounded by nature. I couldn't wait to explore them.

Exploring the Lagoons

My favorite part of the resort was the lagoons. They are massive, interconnected, and designed to feel like real lagoons. I spent hours swimming and just floating on the warm water. It was really so peaceful. The sound of birds and gentle rustling of leaves added to the serene atmosphere. All I do was a lot of fun and so relaxing.
One of the place I loved was how clean and inviting the water was. I could see the reflection of the trees and sky, making every moment there picture perfect. Being in the lagoons felt like I was in harmony with nature.

When I wasn't in the lagoons, I spent hours strolling around the resort. The wide, open paths were perfect for leisurely walks, and I loved discovering little hidden spots. The gardens were vibrant with tropical flowers, and I often found myself stopping just to admire them.
Walking along the wooden walkways over the water was a special experience. The views were stunning, and I could feel the gentle breeze as I explored. Each turn revealed something new, the peaceful nook, a shaded bench, or a perfect view of the lagoons. It was the kind of place where you could lose track of time, just enjoying the moment.

The one that I will not forget was the sunset at the Plantation Bay because it is really something. I also found a spot at my balcony to watch as the sky transformed. The colors that I saw were stunning shades of orange and that blends with the sky like a painting. I sat there, feeling the cooling breeze and soaking in the beauty of the moment, I felt completely at peace. Watching the sunset became my favorite way to end my day at such a wonderful place like it.

• Take your time, because the resort is big and filled with hidden gems. You can walk around and enjoy every corner at your own pace.
• Dive Into the Lagoons, you can spend much time as you can in the lagoons. Whether swimming or kayaking, they're the heart of the experience.
• Catch the Sunset, find time for a spot by the water to watch sunset or maybe if you're room has a balcony for you to see the sunset. It's a moment you won't want to miss.
• Stay Comfortable, please also bring sunblock and stay hydrated, especially if you're spending a lot of time outdoors.

Visiting this kind of place is not just a destination for me but an experience. I can say that from the stunning lagoons to the peaceful surroundings, it is a place where you can truly relax and reconnect with nature. To be honest, I felt refreshed and grateful for the time I spent there. I hope I can go back soon as this what everyone I think will want to visit for relaxation for them to unwind.
