RE: Another beautiful Hike in Ateora - The Tongariro Alpine Crossing, New Zealand

When I first joined the Blockchain back in 2017, I was also determined to post daily, or at least once every 2 days, and when I wasn't able to, I felt like I was disappointing the members of community and always ask myself why others can do it and I can't.

The reality was that focusing to share new content daily was becoming less and less entertaining because back then it was really hard to make people stop on your posts and for one year everything I was getting on my articles was between $0-$0.50 which was very discouraging.

So I stopped and decided to post just once every 6 days and did that for almost 3 years in a row. It's very important to set yourself a schedule and follow it because when I was sharing daily content, I realized that I was less dedicating myself to write as many information about every place visited, than the articles I started sharing weekly. I was getting maxim 500 words daily, while on the weekly articles I have moments when I reach 2,500-3,000 words, and that makes the efforts and time spent be better rewarded. So don't put too much pressure on yourself to post daily because people who do it have years of experience in writing already and also gained their support in the community and it's easier for them to find their motivation 😊

Always focus on quality rather than quantity 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing your valuable lesson with me. As I am a one-month old Hiver, I was planning to participating in two community contests each week, on top of that I want write 1-2 articles about stuff that I like. That were things went wrong. I was not able to deliver my goal. I felt bad and lost my focus. I understand it now and will take things slowly. Once again, I really appreciate your time to share with me your experience. Cheers, Dora.

Nothing to thank me for. I love when I can help people. Just take it easy and one day you'll manage to do everything you plan without feeling too much pressure on your shoulders ☺️
