Hello everyone!
One weekend last summer I went with my friends to Rovinj. This was our first travel to sea together. We always thought about how we should go together and then my friend Ivona found a cheap apartment for us. The five of us met on the bus station in Zagreb, also we bought crossword puzzles so we can kill our time while traveling. The bus was full, well the summer season started. It was Friday when we came to Rovinj and we immediately reserved the back tickets for Sunday. After that we went to out apartment to leave our stuff.
This is the view from the bar were we came for a drink after unpacking.
We really needed the cup of coffee to chill out from the travel.
Below you can see the bar ( but this was sunset time when I took the photo of the bar)
After coffee we came back to apartment to wear our bikinis and we went on beach to refresh ourselves. While we were getting ready for the beach I took a couple of photos from the apartment.
I am really fascinated by this colorful buildings. It is really interesting that in this part of Adriatic sea cities have colorful buildings unlike the cities in south Adriatic sea.
This was my first time here and I was amazed by this little Istrian town.
Sunny, colorful, interesting and full of history. Everything in just one place.
This is the view from the beach we went to. The beach wasn't too crowded in a place where we put our staff so we could really relax. The pine trees behind us were making perfect shadow so that we wouldn't be on direct sun. We spent almost all day at the beach. So when we came back to our apartment we agreed to go out for a drink and do the sight-seeing of the city next day.
The next day we woke up and ate, and after that we went on a beach again, but this time we stayed until afternoon when we came back to get ready for sight-seeing.
This European nettle tree looks really interesting with this roots and umbrella habitus.
This is a Church of St. Euphemia and in the photo below you can see the sight in front of church.
This cute door really took my breath away. We actually spent some time to find these door because on of my friends found on Instagram how someone share photo of these doors and she really wanted to find the door. And here it is a popular colorful door. 😍
Then we spent some time walking in this tiny streets. Of course we bought some magnets and went on a cocktail later.
I really enjoyed walking down these streets and having fun with my friends. This town really gives positive and relaxing energy that fills your body every time you see a new detail of the city.
Seagulls are quite close to humans here, they really came close to us so we could take a good picture of this little fella. Also they will took your stuff from your hands if you have something delicious like one of them took apple pie from hands of my friend. We were in shock for a few minutes after that and just started laughing.
The next day we needed to get packed and go to bus station back to Zagreb. We were a little bit sad because the time just flew by but also very happy to spend an amazing weekend with friends.

I was in Rovinj once while on vacation. A beautiful town! It was great to walk in the streets between colorful buildings, and next to the sea, where you can swim... or just sit on the beach and relax 😊
