Un día en la playa Rocky Cay en la Isla de San Andrés // A day at Rocky Cay beach on San Andres Island

Hola a todos! nuestro paso por la Isla de San Andrés duró aproximadamente una semana, y disfrutamos cada día allí (por no decir cada minuto), incluso cuando íbamos caminando desde nuestro hospedaje hasta a la playa lo disfrutabamos porque observabamos casas lindas o paisajes geniales que les mostraré a lo largo de este post, aunque cuando nos tocaba pasar por calles cuestas no nos gustaba mucho, pero no importaba mucho porque amamos la Isla y nos gustó estar allí conociendo cada rincón de esta.

Hello everyone! our visit to San Andrés Island lasted about a week, and we enjoyed every day there (if not every minute), even when we walked from our lodging to the beach we enjoyed it because we saw beautiful houses or great landscapes that I will show you throughout this post, although when we had to go through hilly streets we did not like it very much, but it did not matter much because we love the Island and we liked being there knowing every corner of it.

Realmente en este post vine a mostrarles cómo era un día de nosotros en la playa Rocky Cay (nuestra playa favorita en la Isla), y dónde pasamos la mayor parte del tiempo que estuvimos allí, así que por supuesto que lo primero que hacíamos era ponernos nuestros trajes de baños, aplicarnos el bloqueador solar y disfrutar de la hermosa y azul playa, además de un delicioso cóctel que nos ofreció el señor Javier, un señor muy amable que ofrecía el servicio de comida, sillas de playa y bebidas para disfrutar de tu día en la playa y que todo estaba delicioso, por esto todos los días íbamos allí para ser atendidos por él.

Really, in this post I came to show you what a day was like for us at Rocky Cay beach (our favorite beach on the Island), and where we spent most of the time we were there, so of course the first thing we did was put on our bathing suits, apply sunscreen and enjoy the beautiful blue beach, as well as a delicious cocktail offered by Mr. Javier, a very kind man who offered food service, beach chairs and drinks to enjoy your day at the beach and that everything was delicious, so every day we went there to be served by him.

Para poder usar estás sillas, no tenías que pagar nada, o bueno, solo tenías que consumir de los productos que venden allí, y claro que hacíamos eso porque por el sol tenías mucho calor y querías una bebida refrescante, yo por ejemplo siempre ordenaba un daiquirí de limón tipo frappé y este era mi favorito, no había un día que no lo ordenara porque es realmente bueno. Ah también habían otras personas vendiendo collares o pulseras espectaculares, pero yo no soy mucho de ponerme estas cosas, por eso no compraba de esto, pero son muy lindas.

To be able to use these chairs, you didn't have to pay anything, or well, you only had to consume the products they sell there, and of course we did that because the sun was very hot and you wanted a refreshing drink, for example I always ordered a lemon daiquiri frappe and this was my favorite, there wasn't a day that I didn't order it because it's really good. Oh, there were also other people selling spectacular necklaces or bracelets, but I'm not much of wearing these things, that's why I didn't buy them, but they are very pretty.

Habian muchas personas extranjeras como de Brasil, Canadá, Italia, entre otros, que también querían conocer esta hermosa Isla en el Caribe, pero pienso que hay otras personas que no la conocen y se están perdiendo de conocer este hermoso lugar, en el que vas a disfrutar de muchas cosas, incluso de acostarte en una hamaca y dormir un poco allí, o de camas en la playa y creo que igualmente solo tenías que consumir productos para poder usarlas, pero yo solo la usaba un ratico porque me gustaba más estar en las sillas dónde realmente eché varios sueños deliciosos jajaja.

There were many foreign people from Brazil, Canada, Italy, among others, who also wanted to get to know this beautiful island in the Caribbean, but I think there are other people who do not know it and are missing out on knowing this beautiful place, where you are going. to enjoy many things, including lying down in a hammock and sleeping there for a bit, or beds on the beach and I think that you just had to consume products to be able to use them, but I only used it for a little while because I liked being in the chairs where I really had several delicious dreams hahaha.

Por supuesto que sí vas a la Isla tienes que disfrutar de un buen pescado frito, y este fué mi primer plato mientras disfrutaba de la playa, el cual tenía un costo de 45.000 pesos colombianos o aproximadamente 11 dólares, y venía acompañado por arroz de coco, ensalada y fruta pan (una fruta muy buena que crece en la isla y que probé luego), pero esta vez, como no la conocía decidí ordenar tostones y realmente todo estaba muy bueno, solo le agregué un poco de limón por encima al pescado y uff es la mejor combinación.

Of course if you go to the Island you have to enjoy a good fried fish, and this was my first dish while enjoying the beach, which cost 45,000 Colombian pesos or approximately 11 dollars, and was accompanied by coconut rice. , salad and fruit bread (a very good fruit that grows on the island and that I tried later), but this time, since I did not know it, I decided to order tostones and everything was really very good, I just added a little lemon on top of the fish and uff is the best combination.

Ya luego de pasar todo el día en la playa, regresábamos a casa caminando también, era un poco lejos, pero veníamos felices de la playa así que no nos molestaba mucho caminar de vuelta a nuestro hospedaje, además de que queríamos hacer fotos por todos lados, y podíamos tener como excusa una cerveza colombiana (aguila) para el calor mientras llegábamos a casa y lo mejor es que en el camino habían varias tiendas donde puedes comprarlas.

After spending the whole day at the beach, we also walked home, it was a bit far, but we came happy from the beach so it didn't bother us too much to walk back to our lodging, plus we wanted to take pictures everywhere , and we could have a Colombian beer (eagle) as an excuse for the heat while we got home and the best thing is that on the way there were several stores where you can buy them.

Disfrutamos cada segundo en esta hermoso lugar, pero también descansabamos un poco porque no sé a ustedes pero la playa me deja un poco cansada, así que una vez en casa y después de bañarme, tomába una buena siesta para luego ir al centro de la isla a comer y a disfrutar un poco más, pero luego les mostraré más de este, por ahora dejémoslo hasta aquí y espero que les haya gustado.
