Hello Hive friends, this post I want to tell you about my adventure to Prambanan Temple. Prambanan Temple is the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia built in the 9th century AD. This temple is dedicated to Trimurti, the three main Hindu gods namely Brahma as the creator god, Vishnu as the preserver god, and Shiva as the god of destruction.
While I was in Solo, my husband followed me for 10 days. So we used the weekend for an out-of-town vacation. We used this opportunity to explore the island of Java. Because coming to Java from Lampung is expensive. So in this study, we used it for a vacation together.
The ticket price to visit the temple is 50K per person. Visiting Prambanan Temple is the first time, this temple is located in two areas namely Jogyakarta and Magelang. The distance between Solo and Prambanan Temple is only 50 minutes by MRT. From Solo I stopped at Brambana Station, from the station to the temple can be reached on foot. However, due to the hot weather, so my husband and I decided to take a dokar, by paying a service fee of 35K.
Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, and one of the most beautiful temples in Southeast Asia. The architecture of the building is in accordance with Hindu architecture in general, with tall and slender forms. One of the major temples is the Siwagra stele or often called the House of Shiva. Inside this temple, there is a three-meter-high statue of Shiva Mahadeva that shows the prioritization of the god Shiva in this temple.
Shiva Temple is the main temple with a height of 47 meters, towering in the middle of a complex of smaller temples. As one of the grandest temples in Southeast Asia, Prambanan temple attracts tourists from all over the world. The temple area is also very large, there is also a park and a baseball friend that is often used for world matches.
Many foreign tourists visit the Prambanan temple, ranging from India, Egypt, Singapore and other countries. In addition, this is one of the study tour destinations for students from various schools in Indonesia. They come from outside the region, province and even outside the island. My son used to go on a study tour to Prambanan Temple when he was in junior high school.
After visiting the temples one by one, my legs felt tired. While my husband was no longer strong enough to follow me around the temple. Finally chose to rest on the edge, while waiting for me who was still curious about climbing each temple one by one. Because for me this is a rare moment, so I have to make good use of it. When else can you explore Prambanan Temple without using your own money. Learning while on vacation, and financed by the school.
After entering each temple, I invited my husband to go down to buy drinks. We rested while enjoying the cool atmosphere of Prambanan Temple which is filled with tall trees. Making visitors feel at home for long exploring the temple area. Not forgetting to capture the moment with photos as a precious memory, going to Prambanan temple with my husband.
That's all for this post, a story about my traveling to Java. Will show the next story. Thank you for supporting and supporting this post.
