Hola a todos, espero que la hayan pasado muy bien el fin de semana. Si me preguntas, el mío estuvo increible. Amo la navidad, es una de las épocas del año que más me encantan, además de los cumpleaños, así que no podía faltar a uno de los alumbrados más esperados de Medellín y digo uno de los más esperados porque mucha gente asiste y lo esperan con tanta emoción que se reunen y llevan a sus niños para pasar un rato agradable y se enamoren de las luces tanto como yo lo hice porque definitivamente se ven espectaculares.

Hello everyone, I hope you had a great weekend. If you ask me, mine was amazing. I love Christmas, it's one of the times of the year that I love the most, in addition to birthdays, so I couldn't miss one of the most anticipated illuminations in Medellín and I say one of the most anticipated because many people attend and wait for it with so much excitement that they get together and take their kids for some quality time and they fall in love with the lights as much as I did because they definitely look spectacular.

Ya nos habiamos enterado por las redes sociales que el domingo sería el encendido de luces a las 7 pm, así que decidimos llegar un poco antes de que comenzara para poder quedar en un buen sitio y no haberlo perdido por la congestión de personas. Es que sí, habian muchisimas personas y una vez salimos de casa, no esperabamos ver un hermoso desfile lleno de cultura, disfrazes y talento. Un buen trabajo se hizo esta navidad como cada navidad en este increible Parque de Sabaneta.

We had already found out through social networks that Sunday would be the lights on at 7 pm, so we decided to arrive a little before it started to be able to stay in a good place and not have lost it due to the congestion of people. It is that yes, there were many people and once we left home, we did not expect to see a beautiful parade full of culture, costumes and talent. A good job was done this Christmas as every Christmas in this incredible Sabaneta Park.

Estabamos en un buen sitio y solo contabamos el tiempo esperando ver el encendido, en casa fuimos todo para disfrutar de este momento. Nosotros aprovechamos de comprar unas refrescantes cervezas a pesar de que el clima estaba bastante frio, una cerveza siempre va a hacer bien. Pero si vienes, consigues de todo, hay muchos puestos vendiendo desde accesorios, ropas, adornos de hogar, postres, dulces y comida.

We were in a good place and we only counted the time waiting to see the ignition, at home we went all out to enjoy this moment. We took advantage of buying some refreshing beers even though the weather was quite cold, a beer is always going to do us good. But if you come, you get everything, there are many stalls selling everything from accessories, clothes, home decorations, desserts, sweets and food.

Así que una vez llegó el tiempo e incluso pasados unos minutos más, comenzó la cuenta regresiva y con mucha emoción desde niños y adultos contamos y vemos el gran alumbrado de Sabaneta. Me quedaría a vivir siempre aquí porque es un lugar bastante fresco y tienes todo lo que buscas desde tiendas y hasta buenos restaurantes de comida tipica y no tan tipica, pero sabrosa.

So once the time came and even after a few more minutes, the countdown began and with great emotion, children and adults counted and saw the great lighting of Sabaneta. I would always stay here because it is a pretty cool place and you have everything you are looking for from shops and good restaurants with typical and not so typical food, but tasty.

El parque de Sabaneta cuenta como uno de los lugares que habia que visitar si se viene aquí. Tienes todo lo que estas buscando muy cerca y una buena cosa es que hay buena seguridad. El año pasado la decoración estuvo increible con paraguas de colores y luces increibles pero esta vez estaba enfocada a la pelicula encanto lleno de animales y con colores muy bonitos.

The Sabaneta park counts as one of the places that you have to visit if you come here. You have everything you are looking for very close and a good thing is that there is good security. Last year the decoration was incredible with colorful umbrellas and incredible lights, but this time it was focused on the enchantment movie full of animals and with very beautiful colors.

Una tia compró las conocidas "solteritas", son una especie de galletas con leche condensada pero si deseas también consigues obleas con buen dulce de leche, mermelada y queso. Dulces que si o si debes probar en Colombia. Incluso en este parque consigues puestos donde venden diferentes accesorios por si quieres llevar un obsequio a tus seres queridos y si traes los niños se van a emocionar mucho a ver todos los animales que hay.

An aunt bought the well-known "solteritas", they are a kind of cookies with condensed milk but if you want you can also get wafers with good dulce de leche, jam and cheese. Sweets that yes or if you should try in Colombia. Even in this park you can find stalls where they sell different accessories in case you want to bring a gift to your loved ones and if you bring the children they will be very excited to see all the animals there are.

La decoración tomó varios días e incluso bastante mano de obra pero fué increible el resultado final, así que queda esperar el dia de las velitas y espero visitar pronto el alumbrado de envigado que es otro muy bonito aquí en Medellín. A mi parecer, el parque es un buen lugar para llevar a los niños y compartir en familia para disfrutar de este mágico lugar. Gracias por llegar hasta el final, espero que les haya gustado. Un abrazo

The decoration took several days and even a lot of labor, but the final result was incredible, so we have to wait for the day of the candles and I hope to visit the lighting of Envigado soon, which is another very beautiful one here in Medellín.
