"Dungawan" is a Filipino term that means "window." The underlying word is "Dungaw," which means "an act of looking out of a window".
If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the place to go. We found this location while we still had a face-to-face approach in class; we would come here during our free time because it was not too far from our school. Now that we are taking an online class due to the pandemic, we still love going here because of its peaceful atmosphere and astonishing view. As cliché as it may appear, an overlooking view of the city will always be so pleasing to my eyes that no matter how many times I've seen it, it will always feel like the first time. I adore my city, and I will always be proud to say that this is where I grew up from and you guys should witness how magnificent it is.
Most of the time, we have to travel for an hour or two to witness an overlooking view of the entire city, but this one is different; it only took us less than 30 minutes to arrive because it is not that far from where we live. Dungawan is located at Lower South Hills, Tisa, Cebu City. To further enjoy the place, you can order and enjoy the delectable foods and drinks that they offer while chitchatting with your friends.
To see a clearer version, click this link of their menu from their Facebook page.
I forgot to take photographs of the other dishes that we ordered, so here are just a few of the appetizers that we ordered (I only realized to take photos when the food were devoured hahaha).
What I especially like about this place is that it is not overly crowded; in fact, there were not so much customers when we came during the noon because it is still early. Customers only began to arrive in the afternoon; sadly, we chose to leave before the evening; I bet the view is much greater at night. They also have a lot of plants all over the place, so it's not too hot and customers will surely appreciate the cool breeze.
Most of their furnitures are made up of woods and rattan, which makes Dungawan have a very native theme plus the plants creates a rainforest feels. This place is truly Instagram worthy so make sure to bring your friends if you wish to visit.
These kinds of places are absolutely a gem. We frequently desire to travel further away to have fun when there are spots close to us that are just yet to be discovered. Personally, it surely is great to travel somewhere far, but exploring locally is quite fun as well and of course way cheaper cause I don't have enough funds for travelling somewhere far hahaha.
Thank you for having the patience to read up till here. Treasure your family, friends and YOURSELF.

Dear @erikathedrama, we need your help!
The Hivebuzz proposal already got important support from the community. However, it lost its funding a few days ago and only needs a few more HP to get funded again.
May we ask you to support it so our team can continue its work this year?
You can do it on Peakd, ecency,
