A Comforting Overview in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines

An overview where anyone could find comfort.

Last January this year, we visited an overview of Cagayan de Oro. It's not a popular place to visit since the area is still in progress and it's 15 minutes from the highway. Even though it's still a work in progress, one can visit and stay around the area to enjoy the magnificent view.

It was my first time visiting that place, and after I have witnessed the view, I was so amused. As I was looking around, I find comfort in inhaling the fresh air while listening to the birds singing and looking at the calm oceans from afar. Everything seems perfect at that time. It was 6 in the afternoon.

While we were still on the road, I took photos around. My heart melted while I was looking at the surroundings and capturing them; a gladdening moment, I'm grateful.

After seeing the view, it seems like my tiredness has vanished. I was so in love with the moment. I thought that was the only view I could witness there, but there was still a path towards the hill where the wonderful experience continued. We climb up towards the hill and there we have witnessed a much more captivating view. There were big swings around and even a place to take pictures.

We stayed around the area for about an hour. We took some time to enjoy the moment, feel the moment, and just be present at that moment. Now, when the surroundings get dimmer, we decided to go home because the highway was still far from the area. But before we went home, I took some photos around.

Being able to witness such is a big blessing. Seeing that overview is something I'll be grateful for Until now, I still haven't visited that place again, but I look forward to our next meeting; I cannot wait.

That view will always be carved in my heart. I will surely visit the place again this summer break. A place worth witnessing.
