Not long ago I had the pleasure to visit the Dracula Daneș Domain , which is a wonderful place, worth visiting and even spending a few nights, days there, taking part of the activities they are offering and tasting the wonderful dishes they are serving.
I've been posting about my visit, so if you've missed it, please scroll down to find the links to my posts.
Today I'm going to show you the wonderful park and in an upcoming post, the blacksmith workshop, that serves as a museum now and can be interesting for many, especially for those who have never seen one in real life.
Next to the inn and restaurant, there's a nice park, perfect for a walk no matter what season you're visiting the domain.
This road leads to the equitation hall and on the way there, you take some funny photos.
These are these windows placed on the wall of ivy (I believe it's ivy, if not, then some kind of running plant), with benches you can sit on.
The windows looked pretty funny, I've never seen anything like that before. At the moment of our visit it was raining, were not many visitors at the park but I'm sure in full tourist season people are taking advantage of these windows to fool around and take photos.
I loved the benches very much, these were fitting perfectly into the scenery. The natural look of the benches means a lot. I always prefer a nice wood, instead of those smeared with bright color paint. These people really knew what they are doing, whether they were using a designer's services or not.
Part of the park with the guesthouse in the background, which I'm going to show you later in this post.
I have mentioned before in one of my posts that it shows they wanted to keep everything as natural as possible and here's another proof, the fence/railing is made of wood, untreated wood, just like the bench in my previous post and as it were hundreds of years ago. Things like this make this place so special.
Cars are not allowed here the sign says, which is a good thing, and you can see another old chariot under the trees.
A swing also made of wood.
These wonderful rose bushes make the park more beautiful.
There's this little terrace in the middle of the park, with a few tables. It's not exactly near the restaurant, but not far either. I don't know what is it used for, I believe you can stay and rest here, or maybe they are serving at these tables as well.
This is the entrance of the riding hall with this lively metal bench and the flower pot, evoking old times.
These are the guesthouses, far from the city noise.
There's this huge terrace next to the guest houses, which is used for events, most likely. Not these days though as due to the pandemic, certain rules must be respected, plus big events can't really be organized.
This is part of the kitchen, rustic style. The tables are decorated with chariot wheels. On the shelves you can see all kinds of mugs and carafes. There's a furnace as well, which gives the place more value. Imagine sitting at hose tables and waiting for a good pizza (which is not traditional here but I bet they are serving pizza), or a good stew made in the furnace, or bread or you name it.
On the wall there were these old tools and wheels, used once for every day work.
This was the funniest of all. It's the carriage station sign :) Made of wood of course.
There's a separate space in the park for children, with cartoon figures. You can let them free to run around and enjoy the fresh air.
This is it for today, stay tuned for my next post, about the blacksmith workshop.

That's the kind of park I love to visit. What a charming place, perfect for a walk or simply to sit back and relax. 🤗
Sorry, I forgot to reply, I'm a bit all over the place these days😜
I loved the park too and will go back soon I believe. It's a wonderful place.
No worries. There's too much content in this platform. Replying everything is nearly impossible. 😅
