Hello Hivers, How are you? I hope that your day was filled with joy, peace, and blessings from above. This is my first time writing this community and I’m here to share my fabulous travel blog experience in Batangas.
At first, I’m was a bit starstruck that time when we were about to visit this place. Batangas is way too far from Cebu. I only know this place only in television and the news. It was like a dream come true to have the opportunity to travel here and it would not be possible without the support of my friends from Manila.
The ARRIVAL
From Cebu, we took a plane going to Manila. Luckily, we have friends to pick us up from the airport with which was less hassle in commuting. We didn’t expect that we’ll be going to Batangas right away. But to my surprise, we went straight there as a welcome treat. They brought us up to the land where we can feel the ambiance of fresh air and the taste of Batangas.
To the Farm, We Go!
When we were about to enter the farm, I thought it was the same with the famous farm we have in Cebu. But amazingly, for me, the place looked like Netherlands, such a wonderful place where everyone loves to stay. I know that Batangas is well-known for its beautiful spots for their beaches and mountain formations. I wasn't expecting the place to be full of tasty delicacies.
To my excitement, I easily pose and took pictures that are worth sharing on social media. So do you want to come with me? Let’s take a tour of the farm.
Grooving in their Old Groove Café
This is the first spot on the farm where we first stopped by. You wanna know why? Because the tourists from Cebu (I’m talking about us) got soo hungry at that time (lol). For us to boost our immune system and get ready for the next rampa, we took our orders right away and as we waited for the food to be served. We roomed around the Café and found something interesting.
There was a cute mini library where piles of books were arranged accordingly. There is also a good space to spend time reading the books-. Also, there was a chess table, which I’m amazed at the size of it.
The café has ancient belongings which they preserve for the travelers and their customers to see. A radio known as a Betamax in their times, miniature houses, and clocks that are classy in style. The chairs in the café were all old but authentic. I think it was all made by recycling materials. Inside the café, I saw something that’s strange. It was the fur of the sheep that served as a decoration. It was an insta-worthy view for me as a traveler.
Not to mention their food, which was so delicious. I can’t even think of any café like this. Superb, exceptional, and very uncommon. My travel was soo worthy and soo amazing. But wait there’s more.
Old Groove Villages
There was also a place on the farm where you can find available rooms for an overnight stay. A very quiet place fit for couples. The houses are cute and classic in style. Hope to have one of them. In front of the villages, you can find a substantial pool where you can spend time with your friends swimming. The pool was clean and its bluish color reflects the sky. Love to swim but it was not part of our package.
Hang on in their Hanging Bridge
Before we go to their hanging bridge, we saw this flowering aisle and took some poses there. Their hanging bridge was just like the usual hanging bridge. Though it was way too deep, there was nothing to be afraid to cross because it was in good condition.
A View of the Man-Made Lake
After we crossed the Hanging Bridge, we saw this picturesque man-made lake. Luckily, we had a fine weather and all our picture were beautiful. A large man-made lake was occupied with ducks to make it more catchy to the eyes of the travelers. In front of the man-made lake is the Big Red Barn.

Red Big Barn
It is huge and has superb style just like the barns in the Netherlands. The Red Big Barn is used for occasions like weddings, birthdays, or any occasion. And as I google this, I found out that this was the place where a famous local singer Morissette's had her wedding reception. So with no hesitation, I took lots of pictures and poses here. On the right side of it is where the Big Green Windmill can be found.
Big Green Windmill
The Green Windmill serves as the office and it is where you can pay your bookings, and transactions of what package to purchase. It was located at the entrance part of the farm.
Instagrammable site for me because of the picturesque view that amazes my heart and eyes. I can say that I’m in the Netherlands with this wonderful view.
Feeding the Sheep
The last part of our travel was to experience how to feed the sheep on their farm. You know what? I’m a little shocked when I unwrapped the food for the sheep and all I saw was yellow corn! The same one which birds eat. I thought we feed them with feeds or grass but it's all corn.
Our experience in feeding the sheep was great and very overwhelming. The feeling that the mouth of the sheep tickles my hands and every sheep long for another corn to be fed to them was a great experience.
Traveling to places like this was worth sharing. I’m loving the picturesque view of the farm and am willing to stay there for a month but I forgot that I only filled out a 3-day leave so I'll have a pass on this for now.
Hope you loved reading my travel blog with experience overload. See you on my next blog

It really is a farm. I thought it's just a barn and some lovely buildings that resembles a farm but when I saw the sheep and other animals it felt like another country farm.
