Hello there,
How are things going for you? I hope you had an energetic first day of the week, and don't forget to grab a cup of coffee to start a new day if you are a massive fan of it. Today I would like to tell you about a young, beautiful and developing city, called Dong Hoi city where we are living.
Dong Hoi (also known as the Rose City) is the capital city of Quang Binh Province, located on Highway No. 1 about 3 kilometres from the Ho Chi Minh Highway. The city has its beauty, as well as a variety of things to do and learn. The city is located in central Quang Binh province, 45 kilometres south of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park, 50 kilometres south of the Bang stream tourist area, 65 kilometres south of the Hon La seaport cluster km, and approximately 170 kilometres northwest of Quang Binh. Dong Hoi is located right on the coast, with the Nhat Le river flowing through the city's heart, the coastline more than 10 kilometres to the east of the city, and a spectacular system of sea, rivers, streams, forests, and mountains, making it a unique and promising area for a strong industrial nonsmoking development.
My roommate and I had moved to Dong Hoi for about 7 months, but today I had time to explore the lovely city and decided to write an article about this lovely city.
We both finished our work at our company by 5 p.m. and rode our motorbikes back to the Phong Nha office, which took 30 minutes. We then boarded the Oxalis Shuttle Bus to return home. At 7 p.m., we left home after having a great dinner to start discovery our city.
I brought a camera and an iPhone with me to wander around the city, expecting to walk 3 kilometers along the main roads and along the coast. Unlike before the pandemic hit our planet, the views of the city at night appeared to be more empty and less polluted at this time. We decided to continue on to the stunning Nhat Le bridge to smell the taste of the sea. It was even more spectacular at night, with all of the colorful lights. Nhat Le Bridge is the most beautiful bridge in Dong Hoi City; it crosses the Nhat Le River and connects Dong Hoi's main streets to the Bao Ninh area. You can see the beautiful Nhat Le sunrise if you come here early in the morning and stand on the bridge. There will be plenty of time to photograph and relax on top of that. I'm sure many people will come here in the summer to escape the heat of the weather, as the wind from the sea will keep us much cooler.
We then continued walking around to see what people were doing at night, such as locals selling flowers and fruits and a lady sweeping trash off the road to keep everything clean. As my homie grew tired of walking, I attempted to hire a golf cart to take us to a nearby cafe for some drinks.
Before walking back to our house, we stopped at ToCoToCo, a tea shop, for a hot ginger tea. It was a small but clean shop. The owner was extremely pleasant and enthusiastic.
Everything looked so lovely at night in the Rose City, especially since we could see the Christmas atmosphere everywhere, with beautiful decorations at churches and on the streets.
