Hello everyone,
Have you ever been in 3 countries at the same time? That sounds like something out of sci-fi movies, doesn't it? But no, I will show you how to do it in real life in today's post. The place where we can do that is the boundary landmark between the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia, which is also known as Indochina T-junction. It was a great trip that me and my friends went on recently.
To get to the boundary landmark, I took a bus 🚌 from Mang Den town. This is just a local bus so it's quite old and small. I guess sitting on that bus for 4 hours would be a bad experience for many people. But for me, it was an enjoyable experience. Although it was quite crowded and cramped, I had the opportunity to talk to other locals and tourists during the trip. Taking in the beautiful surroundings through the bus window was also a fun thing to do during the trip.
After about 4 hours on the bus, we finally reached the boundary landmark. My first feeling after getting off the bus was that it was interesting and exciting to explore the surrounding area. The boundary landmark is located on a hill in the middle of a large mountain area. From that point, I was able to have a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area.
Let me show you the view of the three countries Vietnam 🇻🇳 - Laos 🇱🇦 - Cambodia 🇰🇭 from the boundary landmark through the photos below.
The first is a view towards my country, Vietnam. From the boundary landmark, my country is beautiful with rolling hills and mountains. Before my eyes was the endless green of the forest.
Next is the view of Laos, out of the three views, perhaps I like the view of Laos the most from the boundary landmark. I like the layout of the mountains there and I like a grassy hill in the distance. That could be a great camping spot.
And finally the view of Cambodia. The special thing is that on the Cambodian side, there are small houses nestled in the hills. It could be the border guard's house.
Isn't it fun to travel to three countries at once? I felt very happy to set foot there. The boundary landmark and the friendship tree next to it are symbols of the brotherhood between the three countries of Vietnam - Laos - Cambodia. Unfortunately I didn't meet any Lao or Cambodian there. I thought it would be great to meet one of them to take a picture together at the boundary landmark. Anyway, I was very satisfied with that trip. I took a few pictures with the boundary landmark before getting on the bus back with everyone.
Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I hope you have a good time to read it. Wish you a nice day!
