Hi dear Hivers in Pinmapple community, let's explore Chu Dang Ya volcano with me today. In my previous post about wild sunflower season, I mentioned Chu Dang Ya volcano. In this post, I would like to give you a closer view of the volcano and mountain.
First, let me provide you some information about Chu Dang Ya volcano. It is located in Ia Gri village, Chu Dang Ya commune, Chu Pah district, Gia Lai. According to wikipedia, Chu Dang Ya volcano formed 10,000 years ago. It is a complex of 3 craters. Among them, the highest crater has a height of 975m above sea level.
Currently, Chu Dang Ya volcano has stopped operating. And it has become a place of agricultural cultivation for indigenous people. The soil here is very fertile and suitable for many types of crops. The local people here are the Bana ethnic minority. And they make a living mainly by farming and raising livestock at this volcano.
From afar, we can easily regconize Chu Dang Ya volcano because it's a huge work of Mother Nature. Besides, it's surrounded by flat large rice field. And especially, in this season, it's covered by a yellow carpet of wild sunflower.
To get to the top of Chu Dang Ya volcano from the bottom, it may take us about 30 minutes. There is no way except a small dirt road. It's a bit tired to walk up the peak because the slope is quite steep. But I promise that the reward when you get there is totally worthy. From the peak, we can have a breath-taking panorama of surrouding area with the immensive rice field, beautiful valley and rolling mountain ranges.
And finally the best time to visit Chu Dang Ya volcano is early morning. At that time, we can have a chance to enjoy the sunrise, the fresh atmosphere and the immense of nature. The rays of the sun, the vast field, huge mountains, and the roads, all create a colorful picture in early morning at Chu Dang Ya volcano.
Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. Wish you a nice day and see you in the next post.

Thank you very much.
I'm so amazed at making the whole volcano a farming field 😁 I will travel to Vietnam soon! it looks like my 2 weeks trip isn't enough for the amazing things Vietnam has to offer.
Hi there, just let me know when you travel to Vietnam. I'm more than happy to meet you during that time.
Nice morning, beautiful view.
Colorful landscape, very harmoniously fitting volcano. I have a dull and gray nature right now. That's why your nature looks like a fairy tale to me.
Thank you very much for your visit and lovely words @apnigrich
It's my motivation to keep doing what I'm doing.
Really?
So we may spend 30mins if we want to get to the top?
The place looks beautiful, anyway
It is worth it
Yes it is @rafzat
But I promise with you that reward is totally worthy.
That first photo of the volcano is stunning! I love all those colorful fields and I'm glad to hear that it's used by the indigenous people and not for factory farming.
30 minutes doesn't sound like a lot, but I can imagine that it's tiring when it's steep. But it was worth it as those views are perfect! I love the inversion and those early morning photos are top!
I like how you enhance your photos. There is some touch up, but they still look natural. I think that you simply enhance the beauty of what you have seen 😊
Thank you very much for your visit and lovely comment @delishtreats

Fantastic photographs! Only by looking at photos, I can sense how peaceful is the area... It's amazing how nature creates such a beautiful landscape from such an "explosive event" as a volcano eruption, leaving fertile soil behind!
Thanks for sharing!
