Hi dear Hivers in the Worldmappin community, today I will take you to a beautiful waterfall that has just been discovered in Mang Den. Hidden deep among the towering mountains of Mang Den, where the boundary between the sky and the wilderness seems to merge, Kơi Ho Ruong Waterfall – a newly discovered waterfall – is gradually becoming a curious destination for nature lovers and explorers. From the center of Mang Den, visitors have to travel nearly 35km to reach this wild and majestic beauty, where the white water falls from a height of dozens of meters, echoing in the quiet space of the primeval forest.
To reach Kơi Hơ Rương, visitors must pass through the Tianjin hydroelectric area, where the stone roads wind along the mountainside. From here, the journey really begins when you have to set foot on the slippery cliffs, listen to the howling wind through the cliffs and the smell of cold, damp forest soil blowing in your face. The road becomes narrower, when the ancient tree canopies spread their roots to block the sunlight, creating the feeling of entering another world - quiet, primitive and full of mystery.
The last stage is the trekking section through the primeval forest. The forest here is humid all year round, the vegetation is dense, occasionally you can hear the call of birds mixed with the chirping of insects. Every step is an exciting experience, because you not only overcome the challenge but also feel the intense life of nature on every leaf and tree trunk.
When passing through the dense forest, the rumbling sound from afar like the beat of a great drum signals that you are nearing your destination. And then, the Kơi Hơ Rường waterfall appeared – a silver silk strip pouring down from an overwhelming height, white foam splashing like mist. Surrounding the waterfall are steep cliffs, covered with green moss and bushes, creating a majestic yet poetic scene.
The waterfall has almost no visitors, keeping its original wildness intact. At the foot of the waterfall is a clear, cool lake – where just by touching it, you will feel the absolute purity of the water originating from the great forest.
Kơi Hơ Rường is not for the majority. This is a destination for those who seek the feeling of conquest, who like to step into unexplored lands. The journey to the waterfall is somewhat dangerous, but in return is a natural masterpiece that is rarely found anywhere else: a waterfall in the middle of a primeval forest, surrounded by high mountains that “touch the clouds,” and the sound of the great forest like an endless symphony.

Your shots brought more life to this newly discovered destination. These are stunning and perfectly captured, with all its green colors and contrast between mountain and fog/sky, it is read with the feeling of relief. Kơi Ho Ruong Waterfall must be given a reason why it was concealed for a long time and I hope the locals there would tend for its well being so the balance between commercialization and nature will still exist. The waterfall shots from above are so amazing that I could almost hear the waterfalls dropping from above and create this sound of water that soothes a mind.
