New Coastal Park - Costanera Norte, Buenos Aires.

Last weekend I went to the Costanera Norte, now that spring has arrived, it is undoubtedly a good option to clear your mind and enjoy the warm days. The Costanera is huge, it is a very long journey where you can find many attractions or interesting stops, in addition to the landscape and the river. Once I was there visiting the fishermen's club and some monument that at this moment I don't remember exactly what it is, there are many.

This time I decided to go a little further, near the Jorge Newbery Airport.

I didn't really plan to stay there but I realized it's a new place, the new coastal park.

They created this beach-style park, with sand and it is the closest thing we have to a beach, although it is not possible to enter the river water.

Well, actually it is possible to do it but it is not recommended, many years ago this was a town spa and an emblematic attraction for citizens, today there is a lot of pollution in these waters.

I was reading a little and I think it's been a little less than 5 years since they opened this place.

Fast food stands cannot be missed along the entire length of the Costanera.

This is a pier where people can enjoy the view and the maritime landscape.

The first thing we did when we got here was take off our shoes and touch the sand, barefoot all afternoon, we had some mates and played a little volleyball :D

I must mention that when I saw this type of attraction for the first time I couldn't understand how people could be in a place like this and not enter the water. Or maybe just sitting in a park sunbathing, I now know the value of this because I see it from a medicinal perspective.

There were many children on bikes, running, playing with the sand and flying kites, I don't know what they call it in their countries but I call it Papagayos 😂

Another attraction of the place, of the Costanera in general, is that you can take boat rides. This is an experience that I have yet to do, an activity that a company offers at sunset and I am sure it will be very interesting.

Watching the planes pass overhead could be considered another attraction if you don't mind the noise too much. As I mentioned, Jorge Newbery Airport is right next to this new coastal park.

I took a couple of photos of these planes.

I think it would be interesting to visit each of the areas that the government has made for the entertainment of citizens.

DSC_0925.jpg

I could walk through these areas and dedicate an article to each sector there.

DSC_0903.jpg

Even knowing that it is the same river and that there are also other docks or viewpoints that offer similar views, it really is not the same landscape.

In front of this place there is also an attraction called the Holy Land, I didn't remember that it was really there so I decided to plan a visit there as well.

This structure is like the center of the park, an interesting design so that people can stay and enjoy the view of the river.

I think it is worth visiting these places and even more so when the weather is pleasant.

I want to take advantage of everything I can to visit and see places that I have not known, Buenos Aires Capital is really very big and there are always corners to discover and enjoy.

This was a bit of my weekend tour along the Costanera Norte. We obviously stayed until sunset to capture some beautiful colors.

I leave you with some extra photos to finish this article and I hope you liked it as much as Ami liked visiting it :)

calm water, it feels suitable for a place to refresh the mind

Perfect even for sitting on the shore and meditating :)

Excellent report and a place with lots of settings for taking photos!... I really like that cover photo with central composition and semi-minimalist intention!... Excellent!

¡Hola @dimascastillo90!

Hermoso trabajo.
