Fin de semana de zoológico.
Zoo Weekend.
Con mucha emoción hago con mi hija lo que mis padres hicieron conmigo.... nuevamente rodearme de la energía de la naturaleza, los animales, las plantas, y personas que compartían sentimientos de asombro ante tanta maravilla.
Zoo weekend. with much excitement I do with my daughter what my parents did with me.... again surround myself with the energy of nature, animals, plants and people who shared feelings of amazement at so much wonder.
Yo quería que los conociera, que los viera en persona, pero si estuviese en mis manos, la llevaría a África o a una selva para que los apreciará mejor☺️☺️🤷🏽♀️. Pero esto es lo que pude hacer por ahora!
I wanted her to meet them, to see them in person, but if it were in my hands, I would take her to Africa or to a jungle to appreciate them better☺️☺️🤷🏽♀️. But this is what I could do for now!
Queda en Medellín Colombia 🇨🇴, en el sector de santa fé...Me pareció que cumplen con todas las normas de bioseguridad, un personal que amablemente te recuerda una y otra vez que no te quites el tapabocas, no alimentes los animales, está prohibido el paso por aquí o por allá, para el cuidado y preservación de los mismos... Son personas muy preparada para atender al público y eso hace que fuese muy placentero el recorrido.
The tour lasted 3 hours, this zoo is huge and very tidy.
It is located in Medellin Colombia 🇨🇴, in the sector of santa fé...I found that they comply with all biosafety standards, a staff that kindly reminds you again and again not to take off your mask, do not feed the animals, it is forbidden to pass here or there, for the care and preservation of them .... They are very prepared to serve the public and that makes the tour very pleasant.
Lo primero que apreciamos fueron una familia de flamingos, tan hermosos y rosa 💖. La vista fue muy impactante, era 📸 para postal, la combinación de tan bella imagen de colores y contrastes.
The first thing we saw was a family of flamingos, so beautiful and pink 💖. The sight was very striking, it was 📸 for postcard, the combination of such a beautiful image of colors and contrasts.
Seguido a esto, vimos cebras, que los acompañaban unos AVESTRUCES , vacas, y toros bien cuernudos.
Following this, we saw zebras, accompanied by BIRDS, cows, and horned bulls.
Entonces, mientras caminábamos estaban una pareja de osos anteojos 🐻,el cuál, fue de mucha emoción para mi hija y para mí, ya que, desde que tengo 7 años de edad tengo Oso de peluche "Teddy" que me regaló mi padre en navidad, y verlo en la vida real era casi que de saltar la baranda de protección e ir a abrazarlos... Mi niña gritó mira mamá: 2 Teddy.🥰
Then, while we were walking there were a couple of teddy bears 🐻, which was very exciting for my daughter and me, because, since I am 7 years old I have a teddy bear "Teddy" that my father gave me for Christmas, and seeing it in real life was almost to jump the guard rail and go to hug them.... My little girl shouted look mom: 2 Teddy.🥰
Un lugar limpio..olía a naturaleza, lo único que no entendí es que la mayoría de los animales a las 2 pm estaban dormidos... En serio! Les juro que me pareció super curioso... Claro, al principio dije: Nada, después de comer el almuerzo, en un espacio pequeño en cerrado lo que provoca es dormir! Pero el 70%?? Super raro!.
Clean place...smelled like nature, the only thing I didn't understand is that most of the animals at 2 pm were asleep.... Seriously! I swear I thought it was super curious.... Of course, at the beginning I said: Nothing after eating lunch, in a small enclosed space what causes is to sleep! But 70%? Super weird!
Este extraordinario zoológico Abarca una biodiversidad de plantas y animales que habitan en el país, y otros...que afortunadamente protegen y conservan cómo es el caso de los hipopótamos, que a pesar de ser una especie africana que se importó de forma ilegal en los 80 por el narcotraficante "PABLO ESCOBAR".
Se mantienen en este lugar donde particularmente se observa a una madre e hija. Dónde la madre fue extraída de la muy reconocida Hacienda Nápoles en 1993 y luego nace la hija en el 2014.. 
This extraordinary zoo encompasses a biodiversity of plants and animals that inhabit the country, and others...that fortunately they protect and conserve as is the case of the hippopotamus, which despite being an African species that was imported illegally in the 80s by the drug trafficker "PABLO ESCOBAR".
They are kept in this place where a mother and daughter are particularly observed. Where the mother was extracted from the well known Hacienda Nápoles in 1993 and then the daughter was born in 2014.
La mayoría de estos animales de origen africanos y a causa del tráfico ilegal por el ya mencionado, llegaron con complicaciones médicas, que poco a poco con ayuda de profesionales estos reciben los cuidados necesarios para su preservación.
Most of these animals of African origin and because of illegal trafficking by the aforementioned, arrived with medical complications, that little by little with the help of professionals they receive the necessary care for their preservation.
Un dato curioso es que hay programa llamado ~EL ARCA DE NOÉ~ el cual, gracias a esta fundación el zoológico a través de ellos recuperan un buen porcentaje de las especie.
A curious fact is that there is a program called ~NOAH'S ARK~ which, thanks to this foundation, the zoo through them recovers a good percentage of the species.
Es emocionante el acercamiento que se podían tener con ellos y a su mundo, y la importancia que le dan a las especies nativas a los programas de educación ambiental que manejan, y el aporte de sostenibilidad del planeta, flora y fauna. Este zoo no exhiben a los animales como piezas de museo pero aún así mi chiquita con 7 años dedujo que los humanos somos terribles por domesticar animales salvajes y privarlos de su libertad.
It is exciting the approach you could have with them and their world, and the importance they give to native species and the environmental education programs they manage, and the contribution to the sustainability of the planet, flora and fauna. This zoo does not exhibit the animals as museum pieces but even so, my 7 year old daughter deduced that we humans are terrible for domesticating wild animals and depriving them of their freedom.
In the aviary it was like diving into a jungle, there were many species of birds and trees... A rock that served as a tunnel and at the same time as a shelter for bats, the entrance is very nice where do not hesitate to take many pictures.

El mariposario es un ternura, tantas alas coloridas, y Ver por todos lados el proceso de metamorfosis..
The butterfly house is a tenderness, so many colorful wings, and see everywhere the metamorphosis process...
Estuvimos con muchísimas clases de primates... Los pigmeos, los Titi, araña, la marimonda 🙈🙉🙊🐵 habían tantos que parecía que estuviésemos en el planeta de los simios.
We were with many kinds of primates.... The pygmies, the Titi, the spider, the marimonda 🙈🙉🙊🐵 there were so many that it seemed like we were on the planet of the apes.
Recorrer este zoológico es maravilloso, y divertido jamás pensarías que estás dentro de la Ciudad. Tiene decoraciones como cascadas. Un templo, una olla gigante dónde me divertí tomándome unas fotos. Además de un parque recreativo para variar consigues cientos de especies.. como una pareja de leones, tigres y un puma.. que estaban dormidos todos jaja, he ahí el comentario del segundo párrafo de este post.
Touring this zoo is wonderful, and fun, you would never think you were inside the city. It has decorations like waterfalls. A temple, a giant pot where I had fun taking pictures. In addition to a recreational park for a change you get hundreds of species .. as a couple of lions, tigers and a puma ... they were all asleep haha, hence the comment in the second paragraph of this post.
We made a stop in a commercial area where they sold typical handicrafts of the region and the country...A stand of many products made with coke 🌱 such as tea, medicines, soaps, gel, everything you can imagine. We took advantage and refreshed ourselves with some delicious natural ice cream, stand, which I loved because of the theme. "Interesting that the ice creams are accompanied with salt 🤔"🇨🇴.Although the center of attraction of this sector, was a beautiful turquoise blue peacock, and electrifying royal blue... beautiful colors that definitely hypnotized you when it landed or modeled quietly by the corridors in front of you.
I was surprised by a beautiful pair of Morrocoy mating, it was super comical and interesting, the crocodile 🐊 in the water, and the fearsome pythons 🐍, further on you could get macaws, parrots, iguanas, in other words, everything..... It's too diverse.
In conclusion, the investment was not much, for the great time you spend: observing, learning to preserve, care for, and protect these living beings, apart from the connection that is incomparable🍃🐏. I would say that if you visit Medellin, take it as a point of reference, it is very worthwhile. Take our children from time to time, it is super important, so they become familiar and help to promote the love of nature.
