The Christmas spirit begins earlier and earlier every year. This year, many shops were already decorated for the holidays in November. Does this happen in your country too?

L’atmosfera natalizia inizia ogni anno sempre più in anticipo, quest’anno già a novembre c’erano moltissimi negozi addobbati per le feste. Anche nel vostro Paese succede questo?

Last weekend, we took advantage of a beautiful sunny day to visit the Christmas markets in Asiago, in the province of Vicenza.
It's a charming little village nestled in the mountains, located at 1,000 meters above sea level.
Lo scorso fine settimana abbiamo approfittato di una bellissima giornata di sole per visitare i mercatini di Natale ad Asiago, in provincia di Vicenza.
Si tratta di un paesino a 1000 metri, molto suggestivo perché incastonato tra le montagne.
Most Italians know Asiago for two reasons:
The cheese of the same name (Asiago), which is produced in these valleys and comes in numerous versions: sweet, spicy, aged, fresh, etc.;
The jams and spreads from Rigoni di Asiago, a company that has been sourcing the finest ingredients for these products for decades. My favorite is the 100% Nocciolata, which contains no sugar or milk, but only top-quality hazelnuts.
La maggior parte degli italiani conosce Asiago per due motivi:
Il formaggio omonimo (Asiago), che viene prodotto in queste valli ed esiste in numerose versioni: dolce, piccante, stagionato, fresco, …;
Le marmellate e le creme spalmabili di Rigoni di Asiago, un’azienda che da decenni si occupa di raccogliere le migliori materie prime per creare questi prodotti. Il mio preferito è la Nocciolata 100%, che non contiene zuccheri e latte, ma solamente nocciole di prima scelta.
We even managed to enjoy the first snowfall of the year! It was an interesting trip that allowed me to discover the local artisans and get into the Christmas spirit.

Wow, you've added another place to my bucket list! 😁 I'd love to try those cheeses (what a variety!) and that hazelnut spread. But I wouldn't go only for the food 🙉 the market views and the decorated houses look straight out of a storybook. Thanks for sharing 🤍
