Is there a place that comes to mind when people say these three words: gondolas, theater and romance? Of course, everyone thinks of one and only the most beautiful place in the world, which has a unique description that cannot be confused with anything. The magical atmosphere of the ancient nooks and crannies appears here, mysteriously draws you to explore it, and hides millions of secrets behind it. Buuuut before we start, let's get back to the start...

As everyone has already understood, the described place is Venice, one of the most unique and best preserved places. And on our trip to Hivefest, we got a little carried away and got to see the greatest wonders of the world. I know that Hivefest happened quite a while ago, but we managed to visit a lot of places in that time, so bear with me, because the next few posts will be about places on our way to hivefest. So, it all started when we were turned a little in the wrong direction from our place of arrival, and we ended up in Italy, a country that has so much beauty. On our last visit, we visited Rome and the cities near it, and this time we wanted to visit the other two most popular cities. Having finally arrived after a long and tiring road, we checked into our apartment, which was quite close and had an unusual appearance. So close it was almost impossible to find an apartment at an adequate price, and it was a miracle to settle there. It was on the 12th floor, and the building itself had a strange shape. Tired, we went to bed, and the very next day we went on a trip to the famous "Venice". And here it is, standing before our eyes, a magical city on the water, while we cross the bridge that separates two incompatible worlds of the same nation - the modern life of people and the ancient place of survival. In the morning (around 12 o'clock) we left our wonderful house and went by bus to explore the unknown.

It was extremely hot in Venice that day, and for once in my life I understood the importance of a fan. I have had fans only twice in my life, which usually broke in no more than two days. But here we had to buy this thing again. Riding in the bus, waving a fan and looking at the islands of Venice, we didn't know that it was the most peaceful moment of the whole day. When we got out, we were met by the noise of all the tourists until we stood on the main bridge to the heart of the main island itself. I climbed the bridge, stretched on the sides, and realized that I had finally seen one of the most famous cities in Italy, Venice, with my own eyes for the first time in my life. A place that I could only read about in stories and see in movies before. And now I was standing at the very entrance here. From the bridge you could see the main river and many houses, but the whole expedition was just ahead. I felt very insecure on this bridge, because under the weight of so many people, I could feel how the structure of the bridge was shaking and it seemed as if it was about to collapse. But to this day, she was still doing her job, so there was nothing to be afraid of. And finally, we see this ancient city, which holds countless stories. It was built in 421, which means that it is about 1604 years old. For more than a millennium, a huge history has been built up in the city. Despite this, the city, which is constantly surrounded by water and washed by it for so many years, is in perfect condition, and does not even give any hints of destruction. Maybe the materials used to be better, or people began to try less, but something with the quality of this world has definitely gone wrong. We crossed the bridge and started walking, it was an incredible feeling to see the beauty of the water combined with the architecture. We walked along the main street and on the other side we saw various popular temples and colorful buildings. An endless number of boats and boats floated along the river, but my eyes were fixed on the gondolas, which I dreamed of riding all my life. They say that it is a crime to visit Venice and not ride the gondola, so we decided not to become criminals. Coming back to the place where people were sent to travel by water, we paid 105 euros and swam into our own fairy tale. While the gondolier deftly avoided all the sharp corners on our road, we watched mesmerized by the environment in which we found ourselves.

Floating along the quiet streets, we were amazed by the beauty and sophistication of all the beauties. Buildings, bridges, plants, water, I can count a hundred reasons to throw away the phone and open your eyes in the streets of Venice. It was such a magical silence, swimming in narrow channels, where there are not many tourists, and immersing in the whole atmosphere. You know, the gondolier was really skilled, because 15 years of experience is a sign. And you know, these 105 lira were worth this beauty. Therefore, it is really a sin to come to Venice and not ride the gondola. This day we only had the opportunity to get acquainted with Venice through the gondola and a small lunch at a restaurant on the river bank, and the next day was to be a real introduction. It was getting dark that day and we went back without sunlight.

The next day, having arrived again in the heart of the city, a real high-speed study began. The heat had no mercy, and it scorched us heartlessly all around us. We walked calmly and tiredly and looked at the architecture of the city. While walking, we found an alley with an entrance to the water, and my mother even wet her feet there. The water was turquoise-transparent, despite all the myths about its dirtiness.

Continuing our walk, we stopped for half an hour at a cafe with cute little sandwiches, and rested from the unknown heat. It was impossible to walk in the city on such a hot day, but since we arrived, we had to photograph all of Venice before sunset. Therefore, we jumped out of the cafe and continued our way through the streets almost running, taking pictures of everything around us. We crossed many ancient bridges connecting this island with many islets, there was a lot of elegant architecture around. The carvings in the houses are exquisite and give a sense of the beauty of another era.

As I walked, I saw an artist painting a picture of one of the streets. It was so beautiful, so he transfers the landscape to his memory forever. The palette looked very aesthetic.

Boats stood under the doors of all houses, giving a resemblance to cars under the houses of their owners.

The beauty was overwhelming from all sides. Balconies with flower pots gave greenery to this landscape. It seems that some of them have been here for a long time, because their length almost reaches the floor. Everything around has a huge range of colors and is fascinating.

On our way we came across the church of San Giovanni Evangelista, Venice. We didn't go inside, but even from the outside it looked very elegant.

IMG_20250112_205919.jpg

After some time, we finally reached the main street. In the middle was a large beautiful white bridge with many carvings called Ponte di Rialto. But after walking out on the main street, it was easy to understand that the real value of Venice is not in the big tourist streets, but in these small and quiet corners, with small canals on the sides, which are so simple and at the same time interesting.

IMG_20250112_223751_370.jpg

On the way back we heard great music. It was a man playing the violin Por Una Cabeza. We immediately fell in love with this song as soon as we heard it on the violin.

And so, to this song, we left Venice with a happy heart.

Bye bye everyone!!! 💐🌊💋

Ohhh, I'm glad you could enjoy Venice through my post! Doing my best ❤️

Looking like something out of dreams so beautiful one day I will also visit when I will have enough money 😆

Yeeaah, so beautiful yet so expensive, yk beauty requires sacrifice 🥲

Been there like 3 years ago and I still have all the memories fresh in my head as it was yesterday! I really hope I will return one day, the vibe is so unique!

You know, from most popular three cities in Italy, this one is my favourite so far 😃 Love the atmosphere! 🥰

I haven't seen other parts of Italy yet but I can see what you mean there as I felt the same :)

Venice it's such a wonderful magical city, I've been there when I was a child and a teen actually miss it so much, only bad things it's too much expensive!!!

Ehh, everything pretty is expensive these days, it's only free if no one knows about it! Anyways it is such a magical city, and it's worth the money 💖

My dream is to visit and even live for a while there, in Venice.
I love the art and history that this beautiful place has.
And one should always leave Venice with a happy heart.

Greetings from my beautiful Venezuela, whose name was inspired by Venice. Thank you, @darine.darine

Wow, really? I didn't know that Venezuela's name origin is from Venice! I wish you to visit Venice soon 💖

The word Venezuela means: Little Venice!
Greetings!

Hermosa tus fotos puedo conocer lugares a través de ti gracias por compartir

This is one of my dream countries to go to one day. And I only saw this in movies. I had seen a replica of that in Macau Venetian Mall in 2018 a huge place resembling Venice. I did not try to ride on the gondola. It was expensive I just watched other people enjoying the ride. It was a nice experience.

İ got to know about the mall only a few days ago, and i was really impressed by the fact that people made something like this inside of a building! I hope you'll visit the real Venice one day 💕

Yes, someday! I am claiming it!
