Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast comes to mind when I think about La Bella. In Italian, La Bella means The Beautiful.
True to its name, La Bella is a stunning Santorini-inspired Airbnb in Tagaytay.

The view outside our room
My grade school buddies and I decided to take a little break from our ordinary activities.
When I want to take a brief vacation from the Metro life, Tagaytay has always been my go-to destination.
Compared to Manila, Tagaytay provides a cooler temperature. Similar to visiting Baguio, but closer.
We booked an overnight stay in La Bella Tagaytay.
A balcony in La Bella
Our room is called The Happy Place. The room has a blue motif. It includes boardgames, WiFi, and a little tent for photoshoots.

We arrived at 5:30pm. The trip took us four hours due to traffic. The first thing we did was to unpack our things then head out for dinner.
We decided to have dinner at Bulalo Capital, which is close to La Bella. It has one of the best Bulalos in Tagaytay.
The Bulalo Capital
We ordered two bowls of bulalo and tawilis! It's the ideal combination, especially in a place as cold as Tagaytay. We were too busy devouring the meal to remember to snap photographs of it.
We requested takeout since the two large bowls of Bulalo were too much for us to eat. The leftover bulalo was going to be our breakfast.
We stayed in the parking lot for quite awhile to take some photos.
In the parking lot. It was full moon.
After dinner, my friends and I decided to go to the nearest convenience store to buy some drinks.
Outside the convenience store, we saw three street children eating a left over piece of chicken.
Luckily, the convenient store sells rice. We bought three, then we gave our left over Bulalo together with the rice to the street children.
We hoped that the Bulalo and the rice allowed them to enjoy a nice night as well because it was a warm one for us.
My friends wanted to try the Soju-Yakult drink. Luckily, Aly and I both know this recipe at heart. You know already who drinks in the group.
In case you wanted to try too, here's the recipe:
- 2 bottles of Yakult
- 1 bottle of Soju (preferably Peach flavor)
- 250ml Sprite
- ice
Mix them well then enjoy!
Rose, one of our friends doesn't drink alcohol beverages so we bought her Vitamilk and cheesebread instead.
Our drinks and snacks
We played Jenga and talked about our lives while sipping Soju-Yakult and Smirnoff.
We made the decision to eat breakfast at Kopa Koppi, a cafe in Bulalo Capital, the following morning.
Kopa Koppi Cafe
They provide a variety of cakes, muffins, and coffees. Blueberry muffins and a Cafe Latte were our orders.
The view while we're waiting for our orders
Cofee and muffin from Kopa Koppi
The Kopa Koppi cafe has a great view of Taal Volcano.
The Taal Volcano view from Kopa Koppi
We enjoyed our mini-breakfast before returning to Bulalo Capital for lunch. We ate their silog dishes for lunch.
We had the opportunity to visit their rooftop for picture taking because we purchased more than 500 pesos worth of food from them.
There is a door that offers a glimpse of the Taal volcano. It's magnificent! It reminds me of the rooftop shrine from the anime film Weathering With You.
Another photo op at the rooftop
Additionally, there is a man selling pastillas who is also an excellent photographer. He took some of our group photos and in exchange, we bought pastillas from him.
Fortunately, there aren't many people there, so we got to enjoy taking our time.
We lingered around the Kopa Koppi a little longer after taking photographs and placed another order of coffee. I ordered a hot cafe latte this time.
While waiting for my friends' orders
We return to our room at La Bella after our second cup of coffee. While walking, we noticed that the La Bella's Sweet Knot Heaven Restaurant was already open. Too late; we've already eaten.

A brief getaway with your friends, family, or even with your partner is possible at La Bella. They provide several rooms with various interior concepts. They also offer a pool that is suitable for both children and adults, however we haven't yet gotten a chance to check it out as we were only there for one night.
Despite the fact that we didn't have enough time to explore more, we truly enjoyed our time here. We'll go back for sure.
If you want to go to La Bella via commute, here's how to get there:
- From Buendia, ride the DLTB Bus going to Tagaytay. You'll see the sign 'Antonio's and The Cabana' signages when you drop off.
- From there, take a tricycle going to La Bella Tagaytay.

Panalo to! Ang ganda ng view tas ganda din ng place. Parang sa ibang bansa. Sarap naman ng inuman na yan. Bait nyo din sa kaibigan nyo na di umiinom ha hehe.
True kuya, the place is really nice.
We respect her kuya haha hanggang vitamilk lang daw
Hehe ganun dapat may respeto sa isa't isa :D
The place is beautiful! I love how they got inspiration from Santorini but don’t have the “copycat” vibe. That cafe’s view is stunning!! I have been to Tagaytay but we haven’t been to that cafe or some other similar cafes nearby. Plus it was also cloudy and rainy haha that’s why we weren’t realy able to enjoy the view that much. You’re lucky you got there with a nice view :D
Hello hiddenblade!
Yeah, good thing the weather was fine when we visited. Hope you get to visit Tagaytay again on a sunny day 😁
(my duaghter is names Ysabella :)
luv that bed tent. and the soju drink sounds so good. 😋
Ohhh, I bet Ysabella is pretty too!
The soju drink is good, you should try it 😁
here ysa..
Those photos said it all, the place is good and looking like heaven... especially with photo on the toproof that has sun rays reflecting on the camera.
Yes like heaven!
I love that shot too, feels like I'm entering heaven already lol.
Tagaytay is a must-visit place. The view outside your room is so nice. It is really like that Santorini vibe. thanks for sharing.
Oh hello there, @sabukidblog!
It really is. Luv the climate there plus the blended life of city and countryside. There's much more to LA Bella, sadly we weren't able to explore much.
The last time that I went to Tagaytay was 3 years ago prior to pandemic and ohhh boy if the budget and time permits we will definitely go there.
The blue kulambo seems to be magical I think our little one will enjoy it and saw the Youtube video too ganda ng place!
Thanks for taking the time to view the clip, I was actually thinking whether to include it or nah since I don't have the pictures of the room except for the tent haha
It really is! For sure your daughter will love it there.
My last visit to Tagaytay was also three years ago pero bike lang gamit hahaha. So far ang napuntahan ko palang dyan is Skyranch tsaka yung people's park. Sana makapunta din dyan sa pinuntahan nyo 🥺. Ang aesthetic ng lugar
Wow, bike! Ilang oras yun?
Malapit 'to sa Skyranch saka sa Mahogany Market.
Ohhh I've seen this when I was looking for a staycation place. Was it worth it to stay there?
Hello there, Zell!
Yup, it's worth it. Though you need to pay a separate fee for the pool and jacuzzi, if you want to try them.
There are also coffee shops and restaurants inside La Bella.
It's better to go there via private vehicle but via commute is a good option too.
I'll keep that in mind if ever we actually get to try to go there. My friends and I were planning to go there over December. I don't think we'll be using the jacuzzi though but I've read that the coffee in one of the cafes there is great
OMG This is such a nice place to visit @cthings!
I have only been to Tagaytay once but I want to go back there and stay longer.
The views are so incredible!
Plus points talaga ang mga nagtitinda pag marunong mag take photos 😂
O dba, nakabenta siya
Visit ka pag nakauwi ka 😁
I usually go there to have mcdo or SB haha kasi maganda view saka malamig 😂
Truuu! Baka photographer pala talaga sila tapos sideline lang ang pag benta haha
I think if I'm near there, I would always go for the peaceful environment and for the great views. 😅
Would be relaxing and maybe I'll be inspired to write my blog there, dba.
Hopefully I can go..
Luhh baka photographer nga totoong profession nya. 😂
!LUV it
I've been to tagaytay before in people's park, and had dinner in indie green culture
😍 i loved tagaytay it was so windy that time
I would love to go back again and want to go to this place because it looks so beautiful c 😍
That blue colored bed has a very romantic vibe 😏
I've seen Indie Green Culture on FB and IG but I haven't tried it yet.
Diba, ang lamig! Bet ko pumunta sa Tagaytay pag gusto ko mag relax relax lang muna.
This place is really nice, di pa crowded.
Indeed, especially if lights off 😂
