This looks like a pretty cool place to check out. We are meaning to go visit Texas to figure out if we want to live there. It’s a great state and full of awesome stuff. We are being tempted though with the equally awesome Florida so one of the other lol.
Love the old Polaroids! Man that brings back some memories. I’m a little younger than that, wouldn’t have been traveling around the country in ‘98 but proud millennial! I found some old Polaroids recently of us skateboarding back in the day and that was an awesome find there, some great stuff that our son was confused about lol.

Well having spent a LOT of time in Florida- For Lauderdale, but only a couple of days/nights going through Texas, I would go Texas I think even though I'm not a huge fan of....hhmmm how to be diplomatic here...mmm ummm yeah..
Yeah the photos are not actually polaroids, just the rounded corners, the camera was an old cheap automatic Kodak which actually did pretty well- until I left it in San Francisco in 99 with a full roll in it...🙄
that would have been cool to see his dad on film AND skateboarding too eh! 🤣
Got my new scanner today, so guess what I'll be doing tomorrow...I'm actually going to try to take a chunk out of the thousands of negatives, cause I think I will get the full deck with them instead of unsorted and faded photos...
