If you love food tripping, listening to acoustic bands and posing for the gram with iconic and famous statues and structures from all over the world, then you definitely should check out this food park REAL IMAGINATION GARDEN CENTER ([//]:# (!pinmapple 10.395294 lat 124.000503 long d3scr)) in Landing, Catarman, Liloan, Cebu.
OUTDOOR FOOD PARK
Outdoor food parks are popular in Cebu. They have different themes, attractions and a single place where you can get variety of cuisines/ choices of food and drinks. Here are some of what we ordered. We had garlic butter crabs and shrimps, sisig (Filipino dish that uses finely chopped pig's face and belly seasoned with calamansi, onions and lots of chili) , and pork barbeque. All sooo good and affordable! Please don't mind the caption on the photos hahah Let's all eat wisely and moderately ahaha Just so frustrating when lots of delicious filipino dishes aren't that healthy. LOL 🤣
Usually people start coming at dinner time around 6pm. It is also a pet-friendly place as you can see this handsome siberian husky enjoying his walk. They also have acoustic nights most of the days.
FOR PLANT LOVERS
Real Imagination Garden Center offers ornamental plants, succulents, fertilizers and locally made products or home decors. I really fancied the woven baskets and organizers. They are affordable too and discounted.
I cannot wait to have my own place and have a minimalist, white and somewhat scandinavian decor filled with native and local products.
FAMOUS ATTRACTIONS
Now time for their main attraction. Filipinos are fond of travelling, posting pictures, modelling, that is why this became a hit because of the different shots you can take.
THE DOME
This dome got its inspiration from the domes of Rome. Before the middle of the fifth century, there are around 56 ancient domes that were documented. But currently, Rome houses the largest collection of both ancient and modern domes. Other domes can be found in other countries, but it is mainly the Roman engineers that inspired them in building large hemispherical ceiling that is decorated with unique patterns.

The garden food park also had tiny domes for dining privately with friends or family or maybe a date with your special one.
The Merlion is a mythical creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish that is a famous attraction in Singapore. Definitely a place to take photos of to really say "I've been to Singapore." It's name is a combination of the word "mer" for sea + lion since Singapore means "Lion city."
THE STATUE OF LIBERTY
The statue of liberty is found in the harbor of New York. She is a symbol of freedom, inspiration, and hope. It took 2 decades to design and construct this gigantic statue which was a gift from France to celebrate the Declaration of Independence and their close relationship with America.
This is their biggest replica in the garden food park and since they had this, more people came to visit to take pictures of it.

GREEK GARDEN SCULPTURES
Ancient Egyptian eras and centuries old Greek times would create places of worship known as temples which would be decorated with statues of their gods. The main purpose of this is to create a space for serenity and worship and people started to do bring this outdoor, in their garden, which became like an outdoor temple.
You will also see a lot of life-size greek statues in the garden food park. They usually export these to other countries. You can order or have it customized as well. I told myself that when I have my own place, I'd definitely put a garden with a life-size statue of myself. hahaha pretty narcissistic don't you think? hahaha

I'm sure they would add more designs there and expand their garden. A lot of people enjoy chilling and outdoor eating, what more with a beautiful theme of international attractions.
Since I cannot afford to travel yet due to the pandemic and finances, seeing these inispires me that someday I will see the real thing. I would be there. Someday. 🙏
