Park Milaflores in August

The dry and hot summer has taken a toll in plants, which seem to be drying out. The water areas in the park in Seville are full of life though, from long plants to various animals.

The temperature being 33 celsius it is rare to see other people visiting the natural areas, just a few locals with dogs going by and some runners on the paths.

The southern part is pretty barren, with trees full of noisy insects and some walkways to choose from. The leaves offer some shadow, but a water bottle will be a good thing to carry if going all the way to the end.

Some spray-painted abandoned buildings around and a few benches, which is a real rarity in Sevilla: a free seat under a tree. Not in a sense of too many people, there are very few benches around the town.

The pond area is really nice, many natural sounds and sights of different wildlife. Seville is a real bird paradise, many parks have old feathered friends made during the 10 years of discovering green areas on a map.

A small breeze on a walkway and some turtles and fishes appearing on the water surface makes the time fly. Sometimes might even see a plane flying by.

The various birds seemed to enjoy some natural pea snacks, usually the bigger ducks grabbed the food in front of the smaller, but all got a taste at least. Not as friendly as the birds in Maria Luisa park as I recall.

It could be, that it is further from usual tourist spots. Luckily had a flat nearby, so finally saw the place, most of it at least. A bit too blazing sun to walk long distances on an open area.

As a nature lover it was nice to see a big garden space with various edible plants. They seemed pretty dried up, perhaps the gardeners just let them die. So sad, that the people are manipulated to work against their own interest and the common good.

With all the fake line-shaped clouds it is no wonder the weather is weird. Also saw the same drying up the parks in Malaga and Madrid, so it was not a surprise to see this in the capital of Andalucia.

Some old greenhouses and sand, it is odd how the cities seem to not be taken care of too well. It makes sense, since the main information source in Spain is the TV. The garbage in the channels is so blatant, it is not even funny.

They seem to think people are really dumb, in a sense the face nappies and gene manipulation shots prove it right. Instead of thinking for oneself, it is easy to just parrot the neighbor or actors on a screen.
