Oslob Whale Watching
Is one of Cebu's most popular tourist destinations. These whale sharks may be seen at Oslob, which is 120 kilometers from Cebu City. You can take a bus to Oslob from the city. The journey takes about 4-5 hours, and the fare may vary depending on the type of bus you take. It is priced between 120 and 190 PHP.
Despite the fact that it was a lengthy journey, the moment I saw the water, it instantly relieved my stress and replaced it with joy. I went there with my pals prior to the pandemic at the time. The cost of whale shark watching was 500 PHP per person, which included diving and underwater photography. But these days, I'm not so sure. It's possible that the charge has gone up.
They strongly advised that you take off your jewelry since it may frighten the whale, and that you wear a life jacket, especially if you don't know how to swim. After donning it, we boarded a small boat and traveled to a location where there are seven whale sharks. I took off my life vest after that because I wanted to dive and get a better look at it. Then I began photographing underwater. It was exhausting owing to the large waves caused by the terrible weather, but it was enjoyable, especially if you touched it. Overall, it was exhausting but enjoyable.
According to the residents, even if the sharks migrate to another island, they always find a way to return. Their secret is that they feed it on a daily basis.
If you enjoy diving and are interested in whale sharks, you should add this location to your itinerary.

Tried it once and no plans of going nack. I honestly don't recommend it with people who plan to visit Oslob. For me, it mighy be stressful for the whales to be surrounded by so many people. Its not their nature to be in a crowd all the time. I don't mind people wanting to experience it though. Hehehehe
I agree maybe they can limit the people that can visit everyday

I've definitely heard about Oslob whale watching, in fact, we were watching videos about it last night. My father super loved it while my mother was worried that the whale might eat up the people there hahahahha.
It’s fun. You should try
Yes, hopefully in the future!
Duola kaayo sa whale in between boats. I tried it twice Kay tungod sa among mga visitors. I don't think I will do it again. Nangasamad na sila :(
But it was fun and unforgettable experience so far! The gentle giants ✨
Hala, yman nasamad?
whales like this are already friendly to humans. so you're not afraid that whales attack humans.
Yes they are. Not all sharks eat humans 🦈
@blocktrades Thank you. I voted you as a witness in return.
Y esos tiburones ballenas no son peligrosos, da como un poco de miedo, aun así se mira muy emocionante.
I have never been there, but wondered how the temperature of the ocean is. I live close to the coast of Southern California and the water is cold most of the time to me. Does the temperature of the water affect the whales and how was it for you guys swimming?
Doesnt look tasty tho but i sure find it very intresting. I tried frog before and it taste like chicken, everything taste chicken anyways.
