It looks like you pretty much had the whole place to yourself! That must have been awesome! This looks like a magical if not very somber place. Just looking at the photos I can understand how it put you in such a reflective mood. Spiritual as you said definitely fits!
Yes, this is certainly not a crowded place. Still a well known though, but I think the rain helped also.
