RE: Under the Scent of Pine - Pefkari, Greece

Nothing nicer than thinking about the vacation, thanks for the appreciation!
Now the biggest danger for longer trips, such as Thassos, are some health problems that have appeared out of nowhere and seem to be consequences of the Covid infection of a year ago. If these are resolved..., there are a few more, ha, ha. I'm trying to stay optimistic and rely on your good thoughts too.
I understand what those little churches are, and in Romania, there is this custom, they put crosses on the site of accidents where people died.

Oh yes, always! So true :)

Unbelievable how many things we have in common. I thought that this is a very greek phenomenon. Of course, I have never been in Romania :)

Thank you!

I am pleased to find that we have so much in common (even the fact that we were under the Turks for a while) but also that we are so different. The differences, of course, have to do with history, geography, politics that have influenced our evolution.

Now I remembered one of the greatest pleasures I experienced in Thassos, there is quite a lot to tell so it will become the subject of a future post. If you don't mind, I will tag you so you know you generated the idea.

No problem at all :)
Looking forward to it!
